You know you've seen a good movies when after 15 years you still know the story and it randomly pops in your mind sometimes. Can't remember anything about the Hollywood movies I saw last week though.
Would you prefer the typical American trailer that tells you the whole story? This is what a trailer should be. It should make you want to watch the film.
My favorite of the Dardenne Brothers' films. Olivier Gourmet is riveting as the carpentry instructor who manages to create an ethical universe in the midst of personal and social disintegration.
I recommend that you see this movie twice. The first half hour is very slow with the rest of the movie being very exciting. But it is crucial to see the slow beginning.
I met the Dardenne brothes briefly at TIFF. It was kind of an unbelievable experience, I didn't really know what to say just shyly asked them to sign my ticket stub for 'Two Days, One Night'. Cool story bro...
Oh, yes, I remember seeing this film, having watched it almost 15 years ago. It had a creepy pedophile vibe at the beginning, where you're wondering where exactly this film is going. But then it slowly reveals the truth. And, wow, what a truth! I also like the Christian allegories just strewn all over the place--the title "The Son," carpentry, turning the other cheek, suffer the children. All very well done. Like a commenter said below, I barely remember most Hollywood pap I've seen. But this movie sticks in my mind, even 15 years later.

This kinda scene is why i watch good foreign films,felt the emotion there, excellent trailer. Def gonna watch this now.
Atleast those types of trailers give you an idea if it's something you'll like or put off by. There's nothing in this clip that gives you any idea of what the movie is about. I'm not about to watch an hour of a film before I realise, hey this is not for me, what a waste of time that would be. You're just a bunch of hipsters.

I think that might be the point, to captive and intrigue the viewers. It has done the job with me.
