Dirk McTavish is doubly hilarious because not only did he apparently immediately die, there’s also _no way_ he was an acting military officer with that haircut.
@@byyusri what would be the history behind it? I dont think this movie needs an sequel maybe an. Mini series of eric and DeboraBot5000 trying to be more human

This movie is so good. Worth watching a second time with all of these awesome BTS facts, so much work went into making it a cinematic masterpiece! I'm 30 years old, watched it alone, and I cried. It's so well done :D very underrated IMO
Fun fact: tea time Tina actually appared for a brief moment in the final movie, in the scene where all the electronics are being turned off because the wifi router was destroid
The appliance mech kinda reminds me of Devastator from the Transformers franchise, also imagine if we got other electronic toy based characters like a Buzz Lightyear styled action figure Tamagotchi Electronic game, Thomas train set, etc.
Melmon and that toy dog are my favorite deleted characters and if their ever is a sequel I hope they appear in it as the main villains (along with Melmon's other buddies)
I do wish we had that final battle with pal deleted scene to make her (him?) be more like a villain rather than being tossed off his building like a phone I think the final battle would be nice
To be honest I cracked up at the whole entire “Furby speech is kinda cute until you turn on the subtitles” thing. Sorta reminded me of those Alan Walker video subtitles where it would be ridiculous interpretations of the body language and actions.
While I think the deleted scenes are funny I'm glad they ended up leaving them out. The film as it came out felt pitch perfect the way it was. That said I do think the robot/duck scene was the best of the lot but still-they had the emotional and comedic timing of this film so perfect.
I definately think the camouflage scene and the scene with linda and debrabot should have been kept, i would've loved a bit more development/screentime for eric and debrabot
Actually, I think it’s good that those scenes got deleted (apart from the two with toilets). Current version of the movie is funnier without them. And for example this concept of electronic devices assembling into giant robot - things like that are so common in other animated movies.
As is, the film is a perfect piece of cinema. Every one of these alternatives would have added more facets to the story, and if it added to the runtime, so be it. If I had to pick just one, I would have gone with the Tickle-Me Melmo horde in the mall instead of the Furby attack. It would have been simultaneously ridiculous and terrifying, and fits perfectly into the milieu of the film. Here's hoping we see more the The Mitchells in the future.
It's crazy that the deleted/alternate content is as entertaining and imaginative as what we ended up getting lol. This movie was so good, it makes me sad it was a stand-alone film.
When I was watching the movie I realized how it was much like the last episodes of Gravity Falls. Think about it. The phone who caused the apocolapse (idk her name) is like Bill Cypher. She stood on a throne, while Bill Cypher did the same. And also in one of the scenes in the movie where the mom tells Katie that her dad built a cabin once, it looked a lot like Gravity Falls. And to top it all off, on of the things in this video was the phone turning ibti a giant furby out of all robots. Thats simular to when Dipper and Mable and everyone else built a giant robot to try to take down Bill containing the Mystery Shack and everything and all.
I would've loved to see PAL as a cloud computer, but the writer's decision to make her a phone was so much funnier simply because of how stupid it was.
