- Large parades have returned as the Puerto Rican Day Parade took place in Humboldt Park Saturday in the first major Chicago parade in over a year.

Theres no difference. We're a part of the U.S.A so why waste all that money to move back? We love staying in the states and visiting our homeland whenever we can. It's the best of both worlds, better education and job opportunities in the U.S, and seeing old family in our beautiful tropical Puerto Rico. The U.S.A conquered us and allowed us to immigrate and stay.
The Puerto Rican festival was moved to the beginning of September. Looking forward to it.

This parade has been held on this week of the month for years . I'm not Rican but I'm Latino and find it funny some of the individuals who have posted as to they should be celebrating Juneeth not Rican day. I have noticed how lately the black community has been hating on us for a while . The Rican parade ,the bs about race in movies made by Latinos. I know Morrocans ,Alegerians ,Egyptians etc. Were they portrayed in Black Panther any major roles in the movie. One of Tyler's perry movie had black landscapers why he was racist and left my people out.haha . Blacks need to educate themselves as who was here before them and how those people were treated by this country . You will be surprised of the race that were hung more than blacks.
