I just heard this today riding home from work. Holy crap. Blown away, never knew that R&B and country could mesh so well. This song is really good. I could see someone doing a mash-up with a rap verse in the middle of it. Gotta rewind to listen to it again.

I've heard this song on the radio once. Delilah played it on her show on 106.7 Lite FM in NY.
Country stations used to play it. I know my local country station did. This song was actually on the country airplay chart. But of course, anything put out by Blake Shelton and Luke Combs gets played the hell out of instead.

I gotta say Rayne, this song is amazing. This was definitely me til I found my wife. We grew up a number of years as neighbors and I moved away. We didnt see each other for 8 years, but she says all she ever found was assholes that mistreated her and I dated girls that used me to get taken care of. We immediately hit it off and have been together 8 years now, married almost 2 years, and our son is almost 1. This is how he is going to be raised to treat women and sing to them.

This song is amazing! My now fiancés radio played this when he found me in a car crash on the side of the road. I was on my way back from my then bfs house, he had cancelled last minute saying he was sick. I went to his house with his favorite meal to surprise him, only to find him in bed with my best friend. I hit glare ice on my way back to my house, I was going way to fast to even have a prayer of staying on the road. My phone was dead and I had no charger. Both of my rear tires were blown off the rims. My truck was still running but stuck on a rock wall. I was bawling my eyes out and freezing on this old back road when he rolled up. We knew eachother from my work, I haul cattle from the farm to his parents butcher shop. He recognized my truck and ran over yelling my name. He was shocked when I told him what had happened. I already knew he didn't approve of my bf and often said I deserved better. He put his coat over my shoulders and pulled my truck out with his. We dragged it to a pull off and he told me he had tires that would fit my truck at his house. As we rode back to his house this song came on. I still tear up when I hear it. I'm so lucky he came into my life.

It took a few months to end my “relationship” (he was cheating anyways) and make the decision to say yes to the boy who was my best friend.

Great video and even better song. Greatly orchestrated and the drummer did a great job by not overplaying and put in some really nice fills. Of course, the strings and piano were awesome. The vocals are awesome. first heard this on 94.7 country in NY and said who is this guy, he's an amazing singer and voice. I like how the video starts in the bar where the girl is dumped on and then to the theater where she's in a white dress, then back to the bar. Great line-you can be my queen sitting on a thrown I know you got one. Awesome. Can't wait to hear more from Rayne Johnson!

Beautiful song Rayne. I felt like there was more to come in this beautiful modern day fairy tale. Is there a story line sequel in the future? If not I will just make up one. You get out of the vehicle, grab a bag out of The front seat, your at the hospital where chic is laying in the back seat. You pick her up and carry her in the ER. While your in the waiting room you think of the past year, falling in love, getting married and her being very sick. The Dr comes out and tells you its time. Your holding her hand, both emotional, and then screaming, your daughter is born, while the Dr is cutting the cord he says something is not right. And the song/video/ story ends for now. Always keep people wanting more. lol Im not to bad on writing poetry or stories, but songs uh no.
