One bad thing about wrecks it voids the rust part on the warranty as later if it starts to rust will not be covered. I hope the customer has a good paint meter as after being repainted & clear coated it may not match perfectly & meter will detect it. Insurance companies as well as the police report will be reported to Carfax & AutoCheck & will lower the value of the vehicle.
Your comments about rust are not true. In most cases, if a shop is certified by the vehicle manufacturer, any corrosion warranty will not be voided. Regardless, our body shop, as well as any reputable shop, warranties all of our work for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. Many steps are taken throughout the repair process, as suggested by each vehicle manufacturer, to prevent corrosion.
@@TheBostonBodyman Got ya as I been in this situation before where my old POS Chevy Malibu got in a wreck & then I took it to the dealer later for warranty work they saw it had been hit & was causing my issues.
