  • Through the death of THE SON OF GOD, Jesus Christ, humanity has been invited into a new identity as God’s sons. The shedding of His blood was necessary to redeem fallen and alienated humanity, restoring us to an intimate relationship with Father God. This blood not only grants entry into the Kingdom of God's beloved Son but also bestows upon us the identity of firstborn sons.
In the Old Testament, Israel is referred to as God's firstborn son (Exodus 4:22-23), a designation preserved through the blood of the Passover lamb, which spared them from divine judgment. This principle of blood marking deliverance and protection highlights a deeper reality of profile, privilege and purpose.
In light of this, the significance of the BLOOD OF JESUS in relation to the Church’s status as God’s firstborn is profound. Jesus’ sacrifice fulfills and transcends the Old Testament symbolism, establishing a new covenant and confirming our place as God’s beloved sons, inherent in whom is substantial weight, worth and expressions of God's will.
This teaching illuminates the depth of our spiritual inheritance and encourages us to fully embrace our identity in Christ.
