Greetings from Tucson, Arizona.. Just beginning a serious search and this is the style boat I'm looking for. The grab bar spanning the upper helm is quite unique, and brilliant.
Thomas you always do good tours. I love your style and your folksy presentations. I love love love that you don't subject us to corny canned music. Please... Buy a wind sock, or upgrade your equipment. You have a talent. Buy the equipment to showcase that talent. Just my opinion. That is all...
Buy an Olympus EM-1 or better (5 axis stabilization) with a 7.5mm prime lens. Good grief I’m going to have a stroke watching this shaking, herky-jerky video
@@swheeler6848 The right equipment can make or break a good subject matter and presentation. Certainly the correct lens and stabilization, and lighting would help most of these tours. I do believe that the new hand held camera stabilizers will work just fine with a lower priced camera. But the lens choice, and technique can't be fixed by anything but a good lens selection... too many of these "Artists" want to jump from scene to scene. this leaves the viewer completely lost, or whirl the camera around the room like an aircraft in a full tailspin...
Great VesselTom , i agree the Marine Traders are good boats they all do or did have the leaky Window but could be repaired over time overall they are a decent Boat on their fit and Finish this paticular one does have many nice things that the Owners either added or Upgraded over the years the rebuilt motor is a nice features and those Lehman run a long time with normalMaintenace and use i personally spent many hours on a Marine Trader of the same Vintage and i do plan on purchasing another one in my future
Thank you for the thorough and methodical tour I watched the whole video and enjoyed it. I love the boat. Ignore the other hateful commenters here, they must have some personal issues going on and don't know how to communicate decent feedback. Yes you had some wind noise for the first few seconds of the video and had some unstable shots. If you even care to work on it just be more conscious of how you are holding the camera and keep firm grip and make slow intentional movements. Use two hand on the camera when possible. You can greatly improve your audio and eliminate wind noise with a $10 aux lav mic (amazon) that plugs into a headphone jack. Also modern day mobile phones are some of the most advanced digital recording devices the world has ever seen for video and audio. No they aren't better than pro film equipment but some are very good. I will look for more of your videos in the future. Good luck.
very nice boat another positive to her is the teak decks have been removed and they were fiberglassed over and the windows have been repaired both common issues on Marine traders of that vintage overall she appears to be a good yacht o personally am a big fan of Marine traders in general as they usually are a great value on a well m are hull and boat
Tom please be careful how you present and way you present. I know you are not intentionally doing this but you present this as harder than hens teeth to find this is not so you also state if you were looking for trawler this is the one but you’re not in the market so come and get her and let’s not make statements that those dirty dirty electri heads aren’t as goats this old and dependable vacuum-flush well if you purchase and install properly the electric fresh water head is way preferred way better way more dependable not me saying any of this. These are your words on a different trawler with these things this time, all I’m saying is watch what you say you are the license salesman. Much good luck and good health for future
I have to agree with others that the wind noise overwhelms the speakers description. A trust you were not using a cell phone for this presentation., They produce rather terrible videos with equally terrible sound.
Engine room is the most important space on board. It,s look tells all as far as the boats upkeep and owners pride in his boat.

Single screw, no bow or stern thruster... this will separate the true skipper from the wannabe's
yup, I have a 34' Mainship 1, single screw no thrusters. But, it does have a big rudder with can function as a stern thruster when needed.
I have watched this video several times and can't find the link to specs and photos. Please provide the specific link

This is how NOT to sell a boat Appalling video!
Dude with the commission you get from selling this boat buy a sock for the mic. Sound is terrible when you start.

So why do you have this video up when the boat is already sold? Christ! And I agree with the previous comments regarding this piss poor presentation!
unwatchable
one of the worst presentations I have ever watched !
