Just saw this record now.Beforehand,I had never heard of a group of singers/musicians called "The Loyal Orangeman".Did these individuals ever perform anywhere in Canada? (And from what year...to what year...were they active?)
As someone born in the early-to-mid 1960s (and,as someone who is lived in Toronto,Canada,for all of my life),I would remember watching--in the 1970s--various episodes of the TV show "The Irish Rovers".It would not be until circa 2007....that...I would become aware of a group of singers/musicians that started before "The Irish Rovers";who were called "The Clancy Brothers".Who anyone here know if there ever was a time when those two specific Irish-themed acts ever performed any of the songs on this record?
