hey Scott, when the classic is finished and you get back to just fun fishing and just messing around id love to see some content of you and your dad out on the boat, i remember watching him on tv waaaay back in the day growing up, and i think it'd be really cool to see you guys out together
I'm 35 years old. I remember sitting on my dad's lap on the weekends watching "Fishing With Roland Martin". Here I am, 25 to 30 years later sitting here with my son on my lap watching you, Scott. Crazy how things go in a circle. Me and my little man watch you and your dad's channel all the time. You will pull out a victory this season
My wife is looking at me like im crazy...lol. just listened to your lil talk after weighing in your day 1 bag and I can't help but get a tear. Awesome to see someone accomplish such a feat with the legend himself, your father, watching. Congrats Scott. No matter how u finished your the definition of success in my book.

I ve never gotten this perspective on any pro bass event much less the classic.
You and your dad have a special relationship. I lost my father this past December. He was 62. Gone too soon, but I can remember special moments with him as well a lot like yours. Huge fan of yours. Love the videos, these keep me sane while I work hard towards my degree at 44years old. Thanks for sharing these events.

On ur last video I left a comment that said I wasn't a praying man... but I gave it a try and now to see you this close is astonishing to me.... breathtaking... perhaps even heavenly. I'm praying for you again Scott. I'm a believer. I will pray for you again my man and may God bless you and your beautiful family with this once in a life time opportunity. Your dad will be proud of you... he already is. But that would be just incredible for him to witness. Practice patience and stay focused. Every second that clock is ticking. Don't let a missed fish get to you. Patience may test you but god gave you the power to overcome anything. God has already put you in a position where all you need to do is take it. This is already life-changing for me to see you so close. There is power in prayer. Go get it, Scott!
Mr Martin I'm writing this before I actually watch this footage we all have been waiting for. Just wanted to make a statement before I move on to watch as I have been following since the beginning of this whole journey you have taken us all on and I haven't even seen any live results of this Classic so I could savor it here like everyone else on this ride with you.

For one Elite tournament I wanna see SMC. Yeah. Just go into it thinking it's just another one of your Scott Martin Challenges and have that mind set. You know your have the skill set and knowledge. Could the self pressure of wanting to achieve a Classic win play into overthinking the tournaments. Just one tournament. Go out there, purely have fun, fish as Scott, the man that knows how to fish, knows how the bass reacts and thinks, the man. Every time you hit that water for each tournament is just another SMC. Get em, Scott!
