Ok. Somebody send a link to the cover of this song by those five people that played and sang this song while they all played the very same guitar at the same time. It is amazing. I am trying to think of their name, but it was five men and a woman. Maybe their group name is walk on the earth? or something like that. I remembering watching their video over and over trying to figure out who's hands were where on the guitar and doing exactly what. I can't imagine how hard that had to be. lol
Love Gotye.. he is from 🇦🇺 Australia and this was at the ARIAs which is the annual music awards in Australia. You should watch the music video it’s excellent
This is one of those songs that seemed so different than anything on the radio at the time. Those are the songs that stick with you. Like "Fast Car", "Ode to Billie Joe", "Bohemian Rhapsody", ect.
This was performed at an awards show and not being the commercial type and probably having sung it 1000 times in the year leading up to this his heart just wasn't really in it... a better live performance on KRCW channel, highly recommend checking that one out.
Gotye (Go tee yay) is brilliant and quirky. Makes killer alt pop tunes. This is his biggest hit, but his best one is Hearts a Mess, fantastic.
Gotye (GOT YEE) AKA Wouter De Backer
Also Named Gotye(Game Of The Year Edition)
