my reason for study visa rejection is given the applicant's previous education and/or employment history, am not satisfied motivation to pursue this particular program at this point in time in canada is reasonable. under r216(1 b)
Did you justify that the course is relevant to your previous studies? You have to give reasons for mainly 3-4 things in your sop.
1) The course is relevant to your previous education and/or work.
2) You will come back after finishing your course and shoe strong reasons for that.
3) The scope in your home country is pretty good for that particular field you chose to study.

Hii i applied for student visa through an agent but my visa got refused. My agent sent a withdrawal request and i got my college fees but he didn't re apply. I got refusal today stating that I will not leave canada and my stay is not consistent. My profile:-
1)10th-80%
2)12th-80%
3)Graduation history hons:-45%
4)Distance post graduation in operations:-67%
Course selection:- Supply chain management and business management (2years) from Saskatchewan polytechnic.
5)Also added letter of recommendation from managers that I will return to India to resume my job with a promotion.
6)IELTS:7 all module above 6.5
I know my red flag is 45% in graduation but what’s shocking is one of my known also have 47% in graduation without any work experience and got Visa.
My consultant said apply again this week on non sds category. Any suggestions how I can convince Visa officer more I have already provided so many convincing documents.
Hey. You didn't get refusal because of your graduation because it says that you won't leave Canada and not that your academics are low. So you need to justify the reason for coming back.
You can tell them about a position you have been aiming which prefers foreign education and how it will help you grow. Tell them your company's logistics is a very crucial part but you need a formal education to take it over.
Justify that the course is relevant with your previous studies, it will really help you in your future prospects and that you will come back because you have many opportunities here.

Because they are not convinced that you will not go back to your country after studying. You need to justify with strong reasons that you will come back after you finish the course.
I got rejection stating the two reason i will not return from canada and another one is temporary stay one … i have applied my visa under non sds catagory on 30 may got refused on 03 july.. now .. i m planning to reapply again for the same intake ..under non sds catory already spoke with surbhi mam and she is making my soe +sop.. she will take 5 days so i m planing to reapply before 15 july for the september intake.. how soon i can expect the result??? Tell them that your proposed studies are relevant to your previous studies by linking them both. And explain that the course has good scope here and you will come back for the opportunities you have here.

And about non-sds, the official timeline says it takes time but people are getting their results in a week's time mostly so you can try it if you feel like it.
Temporary stay reason means that they are not convinced that you will leave Canada after completing your studies. So you have to convince them that your course is relevant to previous studies and it's scope is vast in your home country and you will come back to grab those opportunities.

Visa is majorly dependent upon SOP bhai. Justify everything in your sop and you are good to go.

You got two reasons or one? For temporary stay, you have to justify that you will leave Canada after studying and for the study, you'll need to justify that the course you chose is relevant to your previous studies.

My medical updated on the same day as of ppr. It depends. Some get updated early and some get updated late.

Hey. Don't worry about biometrics and medical because it's your second file so they already have your details. Updating time might differ but here is what I know:
1) Biometrics details are transferred usually on the same day you lodge your second file. It shows there "we do not need your fingerprints" but if you scroll down in the end you'll see biometrics received date written there and you'll find your biometrics details in that column.
2) As far as my knowledge, medical is updated on the same day as your ppr.
3) You can expect your ppr anytime around 15 July bro according to the timeline.

Hello. You have to justify that you will come back and will not stay in Canada. You can tell them how the course will help you and what are you planning to achieve in your home country after doing the course.
They should know that the course has scope and give them strong reasons to come back.

You'll be able to know the exact reason through gcms notes and can make your soe and sop accordingly. So yes, notes help you for sure :)

I lodged my file in July 2021 i had a medical problem which all got cleared and updated on my portal in may 2022 and along with that I got a additional request letter from embassy about my updated loa. I submited it after that I haven't receive any response. Review is started from so long. My college will not accept another defferel. What should I do? Bro is it important to show backlogs in file for getting visa
Getting a visa does not solely rely on backlogs bhai. If you have been accepted by a college or a university with the backlogs then it's fine.
Now for the visa, you need to attach all the marksheets you have including the backlog ones. They'll ultimately know about the backlogs through your marksheets, right. The main thing is that even if you had any backlogs, they are cleared.
If you had any backlogs, attach a backlog summary which states the subjects you had backlogs in and in which semester and that all the backlogs are cleared. Check the format of this document with your respected college or university from where you completed your degree in India.
And if you didn't have any backlogs, then attach a No Backlog certificate which states that you passed your degree without any backlogs.

It's a reason you get when the visa officer is not convinced that you will leave Canada after completing your studies. Focus on justifying that and tell them that you will come back. Give them strong reasons and tell them your course is relevant and that it has scope in your home country. You have opportunities here.

And about the sop writers, yes, they are professionals. They talk to you first regarding your details and then write everything from scratch.

You can show the full year fees in non sds too since you already paid. You might already have GIC and full year fees receipt so they will work in non sds too.

@@srivishnu2521 hey Vishnu, same case as yours, I asked this to my agent about this and she said no. Cause now they are applying through non sds now, it's a choice we can make to apply through sds or non sds, it doesn't automatically detect cause we are specifically selecting non sds.

Yes you should make your sop stronger and SOE is only to justify the reason of refusal. Both are different documents not the same.

Notes take about a month so if it's september intake then you can check the last date to defer and wait for the notes or you can justify the reason of refusal strongly in your SOE and new SOP. Sometimes this reason is also because they think that the scope of proposed studies is not wide and the opportunities are low.
If you can justify why you want to do that course, it has a wide range of opportunities in your home country and that you will come back to grab those opportunities then it's good.
Waiting for the notes will tell you exactly what was the reason which might help you in forming a better justification and you might get those before having to defer because deferring is usually allowed upto Day 10 of classes but still send a mail to your college and check the date.

Different approaches bhai. Some people prefer only LOE and some attach both. I'd suggest use both.
Hey... I also got refusal on 8june for sep intake, file lodged pn 14 march and reason was same as urs.... I was in big trouble that what to do now, and i also consulted some of well reputed firms in my area.. They told me to change the college... Then I requested my college for refunds, so that i can reapply in a new college.... But now I am getting advices to don't change the college and reapply the case same as shown in ur video.... I m regretting for my quick decision 😞😿

@@tajdarekalam no bro i was so confused and just followed the reputed consultant..... I requested the refunds... After one week when I realised that i had maken a mistake.... I have to reapply for same college.. Then I also requested my college to stop the refunding process.... They replied that ur refund process is already on board and not be cancelled now

Biometrics same day hua tha bhai jis din file lodge kari thi, 16 March. Kyuki wo first file mein already hota hai to same day hi receive ho jaata hai second file mein usually. Medical update hua tha ppr waale din, 8 June.

@@ksandhu693 biometrics will always show we don't need your fingerprints and once your medical is updated it will show 'you have passed the medical exam'.
You will also get a message once the review of your file starts.

Hello. You have to tell them 3 things basically -
1) Why that specific course
2) your course is relevant to previous studies
3) the scope of that field is very good in your home country and you will come back to avail those opportunities.
Convince them that you will come back and give strong reasons for the same.

@@Mr.Hari06 these documents are usually added when the reason is related to finance. It's your choice if you want to but make sure the finance is good according to the Canadian income.

It depends whether you want to know in detail about the reason.
If you can convince them and justify strongly in your SOE that you'll come back then you can reapply directly. GCMS take about a month to reach.

Regarding sds and non sds, people are getting results faster in non sds these days even though the official timeline for that is 80-90 days.

@@dilpreetkaur1883 yes college same. But college change ho to bhi problem nahi hai agar course same hai. notes nahi kiye kyuki time lagta hai usme aur main chaahta tha defer na karvaana pade. But defer karvaana hi pada kyuki visa ki timeline bohot lambi hai.

Applying for the same intake might not be a better option bhai because according to the current timeline, you might get the visa after your classes start in September. Deferring the intake will buy you a good time as you'll get the visa in 12 weeks from the date you apply. So you'll still have time for January.

reason is Purpose of visit to canada is not consistent
and my agent is saying to reapply for the same intake and then request to the college for deferment giving the reason that my visa is still underprocess.

@@shubhamthakur6579 yes it is an option bhai. You'll get the visa for september but you'll go in January. After you land on the airport you can show them the new offer letter for January and ask them to give the study permit from January instead of september since you deferred.
@@shubhamthakur6579 Also, work on your sop before reapplying and justify the reason of coming back in the SOE. And don't lose hope bhai, this is the reason they are giving out to so many people these days. It might be a random rejection because they are rejecting randomly also.
Just work on sop and soe and you'll get it :)

I got SP refusal yesterday (after waiting for more than 4.5 months)...reason was not to fulfill the English language requirements. Though, my IELTS was 7.0 (overall), where only one module's score was 5.5. Visa catagory was Non-SDS.
Now, what should I do at this moment...should I seat for IELTS again and reapply for SP or should I re-write my SOP to explain that how I meet the English language requirements?
And one more queries, is there any general deadline to reapply (like 30 days or 90 days) after refusal and how many days it take to inform the final decision from IRCC after reapply?
Reapply with adding LOE(Letter of Explanation) strongly defining that your course requirements were 6 overall with no band less than 5.5.

Very useful video. Thanks. My consultant is now asking me to go for non-sds after refusal. My course starting in October. What do you suggest. My reason was temporary stay not consistent with application. My brother is Canadian citizen and mother has got PR though she is in India. Should I wait for gcms notes or just apply?

You can go for non-sds, yes. Although the timeline for non-sds is not specified, but people are getting their visas in a week's time.
Gcms notes are useful when you have time and if someone is deferring. So if you are thinking of deferring, then you can wait for gcms since it takes about a month to get those. If you are confused about the reason of your refusal then you should apply those but if you feel you can justify it then you are good to go.
If you apply in SDS, the timeline is 80-90 days and the current timeline for Non-SDS is under 2 weeks but it might not be constant.
You can try your luck in Non-SDS because you'll get your visa by October in SDS even if you apply today.
So there are two options, defer and wait for gcms or apply in Non-SDS which does not guarantee the results early but currently it's within weeks.
