Featured in the 1997 Bollywood film “Rangeela”, this song is a duet performed by playback singers Hariharan and Swarnalatha, with music
composed by the “Mozart of Madras” A.R. Rahman, and lyrics by Mehboob. Rahman fuses elements of an Indian classical “raga” with gritty percussion and roaring cello lines to convey the raw power of love.
Recorded live in the Sydney to Mumbai Concert on 13 August 2023 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
