    I'm new to Brett's videos and I really like them. I don't like the arch in his back (even before performing the exercise), yet he is so big, that maybe that cannot be helped.

    interesting how he uses very light weights...
    I wonder if its for demonstration purposes or genuinely lifts light weights to focus the muscles..

      Mostly I'd say for demonstration purposes, but he does say sometimes not to go heavy.

      Yes, Kieran B. and Texas Rebel, he is following a long-time practice. I had the priviledge of getting training advice from Dave " Mr. Universe" Draper, known as " The Blonde Bomber". Dave encouraged me and others to always use a manageable weight-- when I began doing this exercise, he advised me to start with a single 10- pound dumbbell. He also emphasized that slow movements are the safest. Dave passed away on December 1, 2021, may the Lord Bless him. He inspired many great bodybuilders, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane, and Dr. Franco Columbu.
