Interesting video Tim I started astronomy nearly 11 years ago to taking photos of the Moon & planets using a smartphone, to moving up to planetary using a modified webcam then a QHY5LII colour camera which I still have, I progressed to deep sky using DSLR's & various different scopes but my results haven't turned out great plus I'd only be going out every now & then so I were re learning the whole process again.
Only recently since finally getting the observatory up & running have I managed to go out & image much much more, I use a dedicated astro CMOS camera now & the results have improved significantly, I like yourself started watching youTube channels & I've learnt a lot more this past 12 months or so then I ever did before although advances in technology & software has certainly helped to. I won't lie it is an expensive hobby & virtually everything I own was either passed onto me or bought second hand as there's no way I can afford new.
Great work & clear skies.
After 6 years of macro/extreme macro I needed a new challenge! And holy sh!t a new challenge I got, and I love it.
One year in: Full spectrum modded Canon 77D, intervelonomitor, RedCat 51, dew heater, power bank, Ioptron skyguider pro/Ipolar, l-enhance Ha OIII filter.
I can't wait till Orion is visible again.
Clear skye's from Denmark.
Looking forward for more your podcasts!
This was fantastic. You covered these topics really well and I love the video format.
Wonderful stuff Tim !!
Good to see you back producing great content again! I appreciate you keep trying new formats also. Will definately get this podcast bookmarked for during travel to a dark sky area next time 👌
Thank you! Please keep providing your videos/advise. I really enjoy your style!
It feels weird saying this because the formality of it seems odd to me but I'm sorry to hear you didn't pass. I imagine you worked hard, I know absolutely nothing about the next subject you're studying but I hope you have passion and love for it and pass that one instead. Nice to see you're still alive and kicking as well. It's been some time.
hey we want you to be in the video as well please
