My experience with those customer supports are usually they will respond fast, but ask you to wait for their management or come up with other reasons to keep you occupied and if it's on ebay they'll promise you another shipment with a better item if you close the complaint. But all they gonna do is stalling you until you can't file a refund through ebay/paypal and so on anymore. If you file a complaint early they either just eat it up and actually refund in order to avoid trouble or actually start lying, saying that the items are genuine and they have proof, but never deliver any. Services like paypal won't actually look at any open complaints, they just open a chat between the seller and the buyer and as long as the seller keeps answering timely, paypal wont get actual people involved. Once you digged into these things and how the systems work, it's easy to notice how much some of these chinese sellers are abusing the system meant to protect the buyers from rip offs like that.
I ordered trousers from a Chinese company, through PayPal. I didn't get a full refund. The product was not as described and was of poor quality. I haven't used PayPal since, their loss.

I could have told you this. I've been seeing this b.s. since 2015 and been battling against these scammers for awhile.
love your productions, "Ben Dover" ...
even w serious content, you always make me smile
nearly 1M subs keep on going with the epic work.:)
I love how they said “We genuinely value our customers” no you don’t you just want there money.. Anyways happy halloween Benjamin and wonderful people in the comment section! 🎃❤
I don't want them to genuinely value me, I just want a genuine mask.
There lol
The crazy thing is that UA-cam and social media in general are flooded with all sorts of scams. Be careful, everyone!
The crazy thing is that super-uptight, cancel everything UA-cam is happy to shill for scammers if they slip UA-cam a few bucks under the table...
I LOVE the variety you bring!! Bring the heat bud!!!
I bought the exact same mask from another site and I ordered the higher priced resin version and when I got it I was not too surprised to find that they are flimsy latex
Love the content. Do you know about the scams they're running on Facebook market place? Might make a good video. They post a picture of an item with a price that seems to good to be true. They got me to email them but I knew it was a scam right away. One way you can tell it's a scam is, if you click on their profile they have the same item posted over and over again but in multiple states and locations. You'd think Facebook could figure this out with a simple metric. Sorry for the long comments just might be good to make people aware of this scam. Appreciate all you do to shed light on scamming.
Not even being sarcastic: when you put the hood over the skull, it made me jump when you looked back up at the camera
I'd give that 3.7 out of 5. It wasn't perfect but not bad. The last i give 3.8 because it was somewhat what it said to be
Congratulations for the video and review, it's always interesting to stay warned for scams! Thanks!
Had that old man mask worked, I would've bought it. Thanks Mr. Ben for always checking into stuff like this before we do!
I should have called it the Gary Wilikers mask
@@PleasantGreen lol 😆
Hi @@PleasantGreen please I’ve followed and watched your videos since 2020 and I’ve seen the Good works you’ve been doing, aside your “scam videos” I’ve seen you add meaning to some people’s lives from Africa.
Please I need your help!
I’ve tried so many things since I became a teenager but still can’t figure out where I fit in, please I need you to interview me and make something out of me, I’m the only hope of my family and I can’t afford waste anymore energy to the wrong hustle, I’m currently sick and tired of what I’m doing now please help 🙏🏼
The real scam is $100 for adding eyebrows🤨
Naw adding hair to anything is time consuming and given the quality of the mask, that price is understandable.
Until you realize that they cut real eyebrows off a corpse and glued them on!
@@kikitanda4024 well its already so much just for the mask and you are paying for what is advertised as a realistic mask and so you shouldn't have to pay extra for something that should be included by default and to make it realistic.
@@kikitanda4024 no it’s a fake item as Ben pointed out they stole a photo of a mask from another company who makes high end quality products. Just post the actually mask they are selling it’s got nothing to do with hair.
@@robstamania yeah uh those actual real expensive masks is what everyone here is talking about
And those masks most likely are handmade and thus all the hairs added in one by one by hand which is why they charge 100 bucks for extra hair
You should do a video about a website called Your Gaming Shop. They claim to sell video games but just take your money, never ship anything, and ghost you. I would love to see them taken down. If you reply to me here I can get into contact with you as I have some more detailed information about them and their owner.
The last one where he was sitting on the couch with the old man mask had me dead! Haha
Oh that skull mask are awesome! Gonna get 1 and be a ghost rider myself lol Happy Halloween!!
Lesson: just bc you receive a product doesn’t mean it’s not a scam
Did you consider the reason they asked you to take a picture/video of the mask is so that if the customer sends in a photo or video of them wearing the mask it an be overdubbed into one of the testimonials on their website?
Exactlyyyyy so true. That’s what they did
@Ebola I meant specifically for the testimonials page on their website. Not the actual ads.
Wow i kinda like the mask except for the old man one but the rest are good but not good if you cannot breath lol love your videos thanks .. Happy Halloween
Haha, thanks, happy Halloween!
I mean aren’t u click baiting us by saying “tik-tok” and showing products listed on Facebook???
My advice. Stay off TikTok.
Agreed XD
I bought the first skull mask a while ago. It came in 8 days, and I'm actually really happy with it. It looks way better than the one you got.
4:55 dude looks like a fake Einstein 💀
Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $7,000 investment every 13days.
The crypto market is highly profitable with an expert broker just like Benjamin owen I got recommended to her and since then my financial life has been a success.
I'm a long term investor. I withdrew my profits of over £56,000 during the covid-19 pandemic
Thankyou. I have thought to order this, but now. Nowway Im gonna do it
The old man mask looked a lot like the old men in the muppet show. LOL!
Thank you for this video. I just came across a site in the UK selling the skull and facepeel masks. I nearly bought them. This video saved me 🙂
When you tried to recreate the second ones ad and started spinning the hat I just died laughing 🤣
I think the clown skull mask just depends on where you get it because the real one doesn't have eyes 6:11
Am I the Tim that said “it would be great for the grocery store” lmao 🤣
Can you do more videos of TikTok and UA-cam ads? This was great
I've used those masks from Immortal before when I worked in a scare attraction. They are excellent quality and look VERY real!
In Germany you can return anything that you buy online within 14 days without giving a reason. That's quite nice.
I was at a Halloween party last weekend and a guy was wearing the last mask (rip away clown face). It looked really cool!
I got some articulate claws from an insta ad. they look like they should and do what they need to do, BUT later I found out it's basically a 3d print they stole and sell without license
I just saw a ad on tiktok with the old man mask
I saw this tik tok. Was so tempted. Coz it looked authentic. Thanks for the heads up.
I started doing reverse image searches on those a couple years ago when I realized the gifs showed someone speaking so I’m like there has to be a video that’s when I found the original sellers
Damn thanks for this. 3 of those masks I been looking to get but now I'm not. Thank you
The recreational was hilarious lol
Ooh my God yes! You showed a scene from Airplane!
I bought the first one. Its one badass skull mask. Many people said it they looked great.
This is common I used to sell Rubies (a big company) masks and a lot of them were different from what I received (except classic frankenstein that one was good!) I also thought the Vader mask was good but it looked different than the ad. I showed the buyers the actual masks and they wouldn't buy then looked at other sellers same products and their buyers weren't happy either I stopped selling masks for that and other reasons.
