the single six i have does not have adjustable site....my was made in 1969 still enjoy shooting it...bought it 4years ago from a pawn shop for 150.......
I own the Colt version, you learn to take your time and make your shots count with those. The Colt goes with me to the range most of the time no matter what else happens to be in the bag that day.
4 3/4” I believe. I bought it from the original owner who bought it in LA of all places in ‘73. Said he a box or two through it and carried to patrol his property. Excellent condition with both cylinders. It really drives tacks and is compact and easy to carry. Recently picked up a 3-screw Blackhawk in 357, haven’t made it to the range yet but soon! Love classic single actions. ‘
Pretty good shot
Thanks
I wonder how many people that did convert theirs are now regretting doing so?......Sweet shooter that you got there.
Yeah nobody I know had it done.
Thy Jeff, definitely super fun revolver to shoot.
Indeed!

Wow that’s an amazing deal! I’ve never seen a good deal at a pawn shop LOL
I have a 1963 Single Six Convertible, great pistol. Will never get the transfer bar conversion!
Smart move!

Sounds cool! What barrel length on the Colt?

Mine came with both cylinders. LR and magnum. I hate that I sold it to buy skydiving gear.
Did you go skydiving?
@@jeffshootsstuff yep. I ended up with around 500 jumps in 39 years.
Wow! Sounds like you got your money’s worth!
