Wonderful to see such a deserving artist get to design a signature model that truly expresses his vision and make it available to other players!!

I recently purchased a JGM5. It's a absolute dream of a guitar. Plays like butter and and the tones this thing puts out is amazing.

Cool! My mom ordered me a JGM5 which will arrive mid-September. I'm super excited! Do you know how to hook up a tonewood amp to it? The reason i ask is because my current acoustic has a pickup that has a jack connected to it which I plug into the tonewood amp. Isn't the JGM5 pickup wireless?

Hi Jon :) does your guitar have any ‘stronger’ internal bracing compared to other guitar makes ? I hit … erm .. I mean tap my guitar ( not one of your sigs) and twice now the bracing has failed so just wondered if your sig guitars have modified / stronger bracing ? Thanks :)

Hey Bonny, thanks for watching. We're not Jon but what we can tell you is that Ibanez use their themo-ageing process on the bracing of Jon's sig models which does improve the strength of the wood itself! Hope this helps 😃
