With the post screws loose, tightening the blue center hub should build tension on your tape blade. Be sure to hold your hub in place while tightening the post screws so you do not lose tension. This is the first time I ever replaced one of these. It would have been great to know the things come under tension. When I took the new blade out of the package it unwound on itself and got tangled up. It was one of the 100’ ones and it took me 45 minutes to get it untangled.
