Mine was popping, and a tech person advised wrapping foil tape around the wire/cable. Might not fix your sitch but worth a try? Love that halloween plate set & all the designs on them. For the Michaels pad of paper, I have the same one from a few years ago and thrifted a vitage glass jar/lid thing filing it full of halloween folded paper stars!
