Hi Rabbit. Don't feel bad about the blood donation experience! I used to work in a blood clinic and I can assure you that what you went through is super normal 🤗🌻🌞
Question but do they usually use a big needle for it? I know someone who sold blood (used for research i believe) and bc they were taking a lot they used a needle the size of a nail but i havent heard of that anywhere else. Maybe bc she was selling and not donating? Or is it dependent on how much theyre trying to get?
@@RattusRattus Just looked up 16 gauge and it looks pretty big. I asked the person about it and she said that she usually has a normal sized needle (like the small kind they use for blood tests) but this one time they wanted a whole pint so they used a big needle. She's gotten many blood draws but apparently this one even hurt her so if you could barely feel it that must have been a really great phlebotomist. Or maybe you're just less sensitive to it idk everyone's different 🤷♂️
@@idonotresidehere.5709 Hey! we used 21, 23 & 25 gauge. 25 being the butterfly/pediatric needles. The standard straight needles were the 21 & 23g. I took blood for testing into small vacutainer vials so I'm not sure what size a donation center would use. I would guess it would be larger than ours or it would take way too long. 🤗 I imagine the larger gauge would certainly hurt more! It definitely helps to ask for a more experienced phlebotomist if anyone is concerned about pain, fainting or is generally a very difficult poke, and I promise most workers won't be offended.
@@nao.l.94 Good to know, thank you. Was thinking of donating or maybe selling blood at some point but I just don't want a huge needle since I already freak out right beforehand (it's never a problem since I don't flinch, it's just this weird sudden panic). And the person who got it told me that it wasn't her first time w that phlebotomist and she easily could have just skipped that time if she wasn't ok w it so I think I'll be fine.
That sweater in the intro is AMAZING omg what a lucky find!! Also I love all the fun angles and close ups you used in the sunflower maze. Your creativity always blows me away!!!
Omg a scientific skeleton is such a cool gift!! Reminded me that a couple years ago I actually looked into buying one but it was too expensive 😂 maybe someday!
Happy Halloween everyone!! 🧡🦇🎃 My bestie and I have already started putting together our halloween cotsumes! We're being the Onceler and the Lorax! Im being the Onceler and she's being the Lorax!
This is making me so nostalgic for Halloween! I didn't get to celebrate this fall due to health issues but watching your videos makes me feel like I haven't missed out because they invoke so much seasonal coziness. Thank you!
regarding cutting the apples that way - did you know that's actually a czech (and probably other countries too) christmas tradition? if you cut it and get a star it means you'll have good luck the next year and if it's a cross it means bad luck, I think this tradition makes more sense for autumn cuz that's when apples are harvested, but it's just kinda neat whenever, i think! (also i absolutely love your spooky season videos!)
Happy Mabon/Fall Equinox! 🍁🍂 I crochet and I love Alt Knots and Kayla's everyday is Halloween spooky style. Thanks to you, I'm now binge-watching Jade the Libra. I'm in the process of making a spooky patchwork flannel shirt. I don't have your skills, so I ordered some patches from an indie Etsy seller and I'm using some fabric I have as well.
Yay! I love those vlogs even tho they sort of make me feel jealous 😭 I wish this my life was like this, but I'm also happy yours is! Happy spooky season everyone

May I ask what software you use to edit your videos?
I'm a beginner and I find the "better" softwares to be a little overwhelming ;-;
