These guys live in Toronto and their show is based in Toronto. Are you new? Or just daft?

Overdrive is a show from a Toronto Radio Station of course they're going to talk Leafs. Frankly it's shocking they spent this much time on the Habs. .

The overdrive is a Toronto-focused show and they do not hide that whatsoever haha. Sorry your UA-cam algorithm brought you here

Evans, Heinemann, and Armia are basically the best fourth line in the league right now, there is no reason or return on any of them that is good enough to screw that up

Armia cost too much and has reached his peak. We need spots for other rookies. Dvorak is gone. Armia is gone. Savard? Maybe, probably. We got to pay Chadkovski new contract next year, resign Evans, and others.

There is no need to trade everyone on the Habs just cause “part of the plan”. We have Ivan Demidov, Michael Hage, Owen Beck, Logan Mailloux, David Reinbacher, Fowler as propsect in the pipeline. Along with a mountain of draft picks, all of this while the team is already playing like they could really make playoffs. And there is no deciding when the rebuild ends or when the team gets competitive, the Habs have some insane depth right now and truly talented core of players who is to say they can’t start winning now?

Overall, the Habs are playing very well as a team, they're bought in, the few additions have been good, Heineman has 10 goals as a rookie, Hutson has lit a fire of possibilities, Carrier has stabilized the D-core and allowed Ghule to really shine as the top defence man he was suspected as being and Laine is the player of substance he was. Add to that a better system of defence and Dobes showing well (he's been awesome in the AHL) and the veterans playing as they should, fans see it's not a hot streak so much as a product of good coaching and a TEAM bought in. Good show guys....nice to get the nod from a Toronto crew, will we meet in the playoffs? I hope not, unless we HAVE to beat you to win the cup....ahem. LOL

Nothing is better than playoff experience for the young guys, Habs wont do anything to reduce their chances of making the playoffs. They probably wont add, but they definitely wont sell.

this is probably the first time i can remember that the Habs could end up being buyers and sellers at the trade deadline. knowing the Management's reputation they will find some interesting ways to benefit from this situation.

Habs added a good backup in Dobes, a top 6 Winger and PP specialist in Laine and a steady top 4 D in Carrier. All at the same time. It's not exactly coincidence or ''all of a sudden'' as they said.

If winnipeg doesn't win the stanley cup. Montreal is next best at it. That montreal team is going to be so amazing 2 to 3 years down the road. When demidov comes in. Hutson is in the 3rd season. Really like what I am seeing. They look to be winnipeg jets soon.

oof course they will, HuGo will not deviate from the plan. if they are close at the deadline the won;t move players, but they won;t add them either, you aren;t getting much for savard or dvorak anyway, maybe a 2nd / 3rd for armia.

I think o dog is correct, maybe divorak, can be replaced with beck. They will not add, an expensive veteran. They will role with this team. The only way they get rid of savard is if they get a first in 2026, and only if struble continues to play well while savard is out.

Disclaimer notice, I’m a Leaf fan always was. But Montreal really impressed me last night, I watched nearly the entire game. And Vancouver is really good despite their issues. Montreal should just stick withe plan. They are a year or 2 away from Playoff’s.
