Skye, greetings from England. Nice review! I'm a big Les Big Byrd fan and I think you nailed the essence of Les Big Byrd. They're not Neu! or Kraftwerk, more a poppy version of Can. The previous album, They Worshipped Cats, had a lot of input from Anton Newcombe of Brian Jonestown Massacre. This album wears that influence more lightly, but its still there, more in the whimsey than in the actual music. Hopefully I'll get to see them live in the new year. They did a show in London last month but it was too far to go. A few bands you might like to check out if you don't already know them: Kikagaku Moyo, Follakzoid, Minami Deutsch, Makthaverskan Cheers Tim

Thanks, Tim. That is a lot of good info. Of all the bands that I've reviewed since starting this channel, I think I've listened to them the most.
