They’re basically 2/3rds of the way done but they would be not even 1/2 of the way done if they were playing for 39 days. I still like the show but I think the toll of knowing that you still have that much further to go is greatly reduced with these shorter seasons. I hope they bring back a longer season sometime.
yeah i can get behind the earn the merge and weird advantages but 26 days just makes it seem weak lol. 2 weeks shorter?? i think thats a bad change straight up. hopefully that goes back eventually to 39 days
Did you guys forget though they do shorter days but make it harder? The lulu tribe didn’t have fire for an entire week aka no food. They lose their votes more often, get less food, and have to earn all the things older seasons got for free
@@chadedwards6521 Lulu had it difficult, but Belo and Reba won rewards and had fire. The 39 day seasons really took a toll on the players in the late game both mentally and physically, and you could see them lose a lot more weight and become a lot scrappier. Survivor can still be a difficult game, and great players can come from it, but 39 days is just so extreme and that’s why people like it.
@@chadedwards6521 to me it’s not just about how hard it is. The relationships aren’t as meaningful either. Plus episodes are a 1-day cycle now instead of 3, which completely changes the way they produce the show and causes some things like challenges or rewards to be rushed. The players and the jury have less time to process information. To me it worsens almost every aspect of the game.
