Is this the top system for the dbx? Very impressive performance for "only" 14 speakers. It just has all the ones you need for a solid sound stage. I'd be satisfied just cause of the bass performance
Hey, how can I fine tune my jeep compass alpine 9 speaker sound system! It’s fantastic technically but the default tuning is very dark and muddy ! And the inbuilt 3 bar equaliser doesn’t help much ! Any suggestions?
I think “branding” a sound system is more of less placebo. There’s been unbranded systems that sound incredible and branded systems that sound awful. It really comes down to sound deadening, high quality efficient speakers, placement and someone who understands tuning. What I’ve come to realize is sound is subjective, I enjoy balanced sound while I’ve gotten into cars with bass cranked to the max and I can’t even listen to it.
I have never heared sub bass with this kind of clarity comming from car system. It gives a sense of power to music.

Try lexus lx 570 mark levinson. Bass galore. Even your chest will feel the thumps.
each time the intro is different but you can tell this is an s tier sound system, it sounds how it should sound with quality
Bass has a very nice quality to it. It's strong, nice and meaty with no discernible distortion.

Probably out of luck, not easy to change head units these days.
