HUGE respect to the dude who sent in this demo. In the end there he was going 8-18 or something. This is exactly the kind of match you SHOULD send to warowl, one where there is clearly something off and you genuinely want advice. Nobody cares about your 30 bomb at MG2 if the whole reason you're sending in that demo is to flex

Its just a video game. Dont see how it takes any level of "bravery" as much as it takes "not succumbing to an irrational amount of social anxiety" over the amount of skill one has in a video game.

Pre-firing is for holding an angle, not peeking.
Pre-shooting is peeking and shooting without needing to confirm if an enemy is there or not.

I feel your pain into running to the same guy with your knife out, but for me that same guy never peeks me unless i have my knife out it happens too much that at the end of every round it shows my name under the mvp and tells everyone in the game that i brought a knife to a gunfight
It's a simple matter of pull your gun out before the contact points. You just kinda have to learn where they can rush you

I even eventually reached global and felt kind of nostalgic watching a video like this. I have huge respect for your work, keep it going!

even though i’ve been playing for quite a while i love this kind of teaching videos because you can always improve yourself and lots of new players can understand the game tremendously better. Keep up the great work!
I think it's important to point out that when you wide peek, you have to go as close to the corner as possible. This will surprise any awper and mess with their timing. (I'm global with 3k hours in the game)
sometimes i feel like warowl dosent understand the nuances and deeper aspects of counter strike. the reason for wide peeking close to the wall is because when you swing out, the enemy has to make a larger adjustment to hit a shot on you, in adittion, someone holding an awp angle such as the angle from b looking towards b main and toxic will be more prepared for a slower swing because they expect a peek from further distance, and thus they have a lower chance of hitting the shot.

I guess people who send in proper replays (like being lem and sending a replay where you play like shit) are invested enough to get better. So hard to tell what impact the mm academy replay had, i guess they rank up anyway.

Something that WarOwl didn't mention (this involving the part where you put it in your plays) is that if you have a rank you wanna keep and keep losing those comp matches because you're practicing. So what you should do is find a 5v5 comp community match, this worked out great for me thanks WarOwl

Upon first glance I completely disregarded this video thinking it was an old one, the thumbnail is the same style as the old WarOwl vids
I brought back an old series so I continued the thumbnail style. I changed the number font and the backdrop of the top ribbon is higher quality than before, and the CS:GO bit is the new one I use.

Not meant to be mean, but there you can see it: Ranks say nothing. LEM, Supreme, Global, all worthless. The rank doesn't say anything about your skill. It's sad that so many - most likely very new and young player - are focused on the rank rather than focused on skill-improvement.

The Game mechanics related to Maps, World Building and Peeking/Holding/Strafing, are very similar in most FPS pro titles, cuz they're essential to crafting any FPS hitscan game. The Perspective tutorial literally works in almost all FPS titles, cuz that also works IRL, in a way.

WarOwl this is a big problem, i have a long standing csgo account (over 5 years) and my trust factor is good, well i think anyway.
But the problem is cheaters, i meet cheaters nearly every match to the point that the game is unplayable.
Last match i had 37 frags and 96 points, we ended up loosing and i deranked.
To be fair this shit is realy pissing me off, and to think that the all mighty valve cant (or doesent want to) fix the cheating problem is really just miserable and unprofessional.
