I was in Colorado Springs in 2018-2019 and that was 2nd to 1 in Cleveland Ohio in 1977. 100mph wind blown snow in Colorado Springs was amazing. Rock ON Rockies!!!
you do know that 70's blizzard hit more than just Ohio right? My uncle was in Indiana and remembers building "igloo networks" for near miles on their property.

We are east of the Rockies in the foothills. We only get one of two of these a year. It usually stays in the mountains where it does this almost every week.

Missing the old days when roads were cleared and maintained by wise road crews. A 2 foot snow storm? No big deal!

Uhh but it is the biggest storm in Denver in three years.. Denver doesn't get much snow, the mountains get a lot but Denver, nah they average about 5' in total from October-May.
And I spent the day planting flowers outside in my garden in southeast AL. Love the south.

Colorado is way overdue a big snow. This storm is nothing special. A big snow shuts down the entire state for days. This only closed a few mountain roads down for a few hours.
Wow those truck drivers really have a tough row to hoe driving in this weather. If it weren't for them every store's shelves would be empty and people scrambling to survive.

50’s today in CO and most of the snow is melted. Typical CO weather. I’m a native so this is normal.
Weather events have really picked up in recent history. Weather modification is real. Sodium oxide cause things. Hydrogen gas cause things etc.

Skiers prefer the snow falls in the rockies(which it does for the most part - big dumps east of the front range are rare) and leaves Denver alone so they can more easily drive to the skiing.
Times like these the serious 4 wheelers can make some $$ as a taxi while having a blast driving in that stuff.
Put the deep lugs on the truck and a smile on your face and don't forget the Keurig for fresh coffe......lol.

out on the west coast, the ocean has warmed up so much that yellowfin and bigeye tuna are swarming offshore. Fishery is changing, fishing crews having to buy new gear.
