Christmas is near! Its time for Christmas cakes
which are made using dried fruits soaked in alcohol. In this video im sharing a boiled fruit cake without alcohol and eggs

Ingredients :
Sugar 3/4 c+1/2 c
Water 3/4 c
Cranberry 1/4 c
Raisins 1/4 c
Apricots 4
Figs 6
Black raisins 1/4 c heaped 50 g
Cherries 1/4 c 30 g
Dates 8 nos 50 g
Black currants 50 g
Candied ginger 1 tbsp
Tutti fruiti 50 g
Juice and rind of 1 orange
Butter 100 g
Flour 150 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/8 tsp
Spices powdered 3/4 tsp
Curd 3/4 c
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts 3 tbsp chopped

How do you get that dark brown color? Caramelized sugar doesn't give that color, is it black currants?
Even I want to know how you got dark color. Mine is light brown color even if my caramel is dark.
If you caramelise the sugar as shown in the video, you will get this color after you bake
