Just Purchased after talking about it for several months I play with a Band and was playing Solo Acoustic gigs a few years ago using a powered Mixing cube Yahama and speakers on Poles Monitors etc..using one Compact the set up the sound only one word Incredible ..Played a small Bar seating around 40-50 people set around 4 filled the room and sounded like taking studio quality sound to a live stage..very pleased..only draw back no Reverb no delay in vocals need to add the T1tonematch next
Just to be clear, this system is not quite as simple as they try to make it sound. One trip from the car? What about something to provide reverb? You'll need something to provide that. Mic stand? Gotta have that. Cables to connect mic and guitar? Set list? That all requires another bag of some sort. I'm not saying this isn't a cool and convenient way to go, but I live in the "real world" of gigging. I carry duplicates of EVERYTHING, including usually a spare guitar.
Without the existance and popularity of the L1 compact, we wouldn't have the MAUI 5 or the LUCAS Nano 300. Bose proved, that there is a need for these small speakers.
They mention "plug this in", "Plug this in", That's ok for a Guitar or keyboard, but they forgot bluetooth for computers/pods/pads, and eventually a wireless microphone. Bose has a great sound reputation but Mipro MA 150 has "all in one" suitable for small to medium gigs and includes bluetooth and microphones in plug in options. This might have better or stronger sound, gotta try to compare...
@@ilpatongi we run two of these now to a 12 channel Yamaha FX board..behind us ..no more big speakers on poles..no monitors ..no feed back we constantly get compliments about our sound
I knew the great BOSE era, the 802, the made in the USA, really fabulous and legendary. Here it breathes, it stinks of made in china. Research done, BOSE does not have a factory in China, it is all under contract and much too expensive compared to the cost of labor. In addition sound side ... it is not JBL (the brand of musicians for more than 50 years) brand at the origin of this bass cabinet + column configuration, a concept copied by everyone lacking creativity. The JBL EON is the benchmark. All the components of very high quality are manufactured by JBL including exceptional speakers which allow a perfect power handling during very long hours. Parameters very often forgotten in the test.

Why did Bose go with a much less robust system with the new more expensive Pro 8?

Also, why is this only at 360p, is there a higher quality version somewhere?
coverage of 180° & 1 system beneath the other on the right side ? cancellations of mids
love bose

They forgot that you can't compare a 4 channel thingy to a 20 channel mixer, it's just stupid.
What if I have compressors, or EQs?

Is it loud enough for a outdoor school gig for a 4 piece blues rock band?
Anthony Vo ..imho, probably not. I have one and use it indoors, it's great but not powerful.
