He's so wise. If he didn't become an actor he would've been a philosopher. And he's still incredibly handsome. He's literally a perfect man. He's my husband in my head.

Here Here! I think it's partly because the actual interview is not edited, we feel like we're sat with them like in a real conversation. It shows that even one cut is a manipulative act.

Great interview. Jeremy Irons a class apart actor of the likes of Lawrence Olivier.
Just could keep listening and just listening to his voice .... no matter what he is actually saying !!! Lol lol
He could talk me into anything!
Fame is fleeting, but the character remains, even after you've flown this life.
It took Jeremy a while to warm up, but when he did it turned into the best interview with him I have ever seen.He clearly enjoyed it, and that is a testament to your skills as a conversationalist (you are definitely more than a mere interviewer).
Such honesty and depth in following a philosophy which is rather spontaneous to him making him what he is... a truly charismatic personality, down to earth... Love his candor in every interview (looks even more sober and classy in the rather humble and subtle grey kurta)
So he would've been interested in another animated Lion King and people thought ''let's not offer anything to Jeremy Irons''..? He's the best thing that happened to the original movie.

Now Ariel is black, as well. How does that work? It was written in Denmark, takes place under the sea, but doesn't directly say which part of the sea. Which race is appropriate, then? Apparently, also black people. Man, I hate all this forced racial appropriation (or whatever you'd call it). We're all just humans.

I gather Mr. Irons is a very thoughtful person with healthy and wide perspective on life. It would be interesting to see him sit down in conversation with Jordan Peterson, and possibly challenge his intellect and some of his skewed views about power. More specifically perhaps to challenge him on his views that everyone has the power to make change in a world where the average person has no voice.
I think he's too wise to take part in a conversation with someone so far below him intellectually.
