- As it is high summer we need our tweeds more than ever as this broadcast from the draughty halls of the ancestral hovel demonstrates
This episode sees us put the H Upmann Magnum 56 through its paces Happily these cigars come with instructions printed on the back of the splendid ceramic jar
Among the highlights of this broadcast is my recounting of the story of the Freeman family’s ownership of this storied cigar brand. So involved with the negotiations for its sale, that an ocean liner was inadvertently boarded during negotiations.
Elsewhere we namecheck the marvellous Kirby Alison and his sovereign grade garments.
Somehow conversation wanders onto the subject of Venice and the Gritti Palace, should this excellent hotel’s Proprietors be working, we would be very happy to broadcast from this wonderful Venetian landmark. Hopefully we won’t even need our tweeds.

The good thing about watching these videos is that there are no interruptions from adverts, given the number of subscribers is so small. The subscriber base is evidently very exclusive - almost like belonging to a virtual gentlemen’s club. By the way, Max, that long, thin, mild Por Larranaga cigar you sold me on Wednesday afternoon was excellent.
Thank you
The viewer is satisfied with this broadcast.
Lucky to have acquired the whole jar +1 of these and smoked one - great cigar! Always great to see you in good health and raise every cigar lover mood (I hope)!
Nice suits
Another fun visit with the Foulkes'! And for the record, Magnum did smoke cigars, and as I recall they were Churchill size back in the '80s.
I need a sweatshirt that says fighting the virus one corona at a time...what a treasure that would be! My god that would be valuable!!!
Capital gentlemen! You've exceeded all expectations once again. 16:35 Nick I will forever refer to an uneven burn on a cigar in that manner. Max you always put in a Herculean effort to keep from cracking up from your Dad's humorous anecdotes and jokes. Keep up the good fight against a certain Southern North American malted libation!
Wonderful to see you boys again!
Nice filter on junior; will definitely diminish the richness of a wide gauge 😃😃🍀👊💙
You both always excel in in the realms of Dapper but today Gentlemen you have reached new heights!
May I suggest that your Club Hit be the track that, (I would naturally assume Freddie offered because he is on the cutting edge of contemporary evolution after all), from Season 3, episode 9. If I remember correctly it was a tune by Purple Disco..oh god, I need to go back and look this one up.....Ohhhhhhhhh it was called "Fireworks" by Purple Disco Machine! Freddie did nail this track...absolutely killing vibe!
Of all the channels for which I subscribe too, this one is perhaps the most underrated of them all
Thank you
Lol Max was so twitchy during the intro. 10:10 Max holding in his laughter and not trying to mention the other type of magnum.
The ancestral jar!!!!!!😂😂😂😂
"it's like a Dalek" 🤣🤣🤣
Also Magnum PI(Tom Selleck) did smoke cigars on the show👍
Her Majesty's Internet how grand! HRH Internet now 😅
Candelas are a special thing. Used to be de rigueur with n the US
THANK YOU, NICK AND MAX FOR CONTINUE TO EXPAND MY CIGAR CULTURE KNOWLEDGE. REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE. WELL DONE. VIEWER #2
Well done gents. Perhaps the jar would make a g/d flower pot.
Enjoy
Crikey! I've been cancelled!
There are two identical videos up, your comment about football and “merch” is on the other one!
@@ianmedium OK, love the vids, hope my depraved attempts at humour do not upset Foulkes & Co.
We will do our best to acquaint ourselves with his noble game that you mentioned
No cancellations
@@nickfoulkessons5824 Too late, that bandwagon is now without wheels.
Lenin..Revolution...
It seams this was uploaded twice
What’s up with the Lenin painting?
No one lived to enjoy a fine cigar under his regime and those who did survive couldn’t afford one.
Why the picture of the blood soaked monster in the background? I hope it’s meant to be ironic.
