Oh, now he rejected her.
Na minha visão ele '' rejeitou ela'' indiretamente nesse final, por um motivo bem simples, ele se tornou o que ele mais odiava nessa cidade, porem ele encontrou seu próposito.
just like that, the movie repeats itself
Travis rejects Betsy in a subtle, nuanced, non - verbal and implied way.
After saying so long, Betsy eyes chase Travis but travis has gone away.
The power of walking away is a Man's biggest strength.
You guys are hilarious, do you hate women in general? 😂😂😂
In what world is that rejection. The smiles, the glances at the mirror, and the small talk. Travis still wants a connection but he knows that he is fundamentally broken inside.
You are projecting your insecurities onto nothing. 😂😂😂

I always wonder what means this scene 2:25? I feel there is something in there but I can't reach an answer.
It's just how the movie started. It's a complete loop. Travis went out into the wild once again and he might break again.
this scene was so sad imo.
It is, partly cuz of the mirror ending.,
@@NickIntoTech Whats with the mirror?
I don't get it

He's still the same angry guy.
he still blackpilled
He sees the city and himself and is instantly angry nothing has really changed. There's still crime and horrible stuff going on around him. Women...ex prospective girlfriends, are often like that after its all over.... They miss the attention.... That's all.
I agree. Many men are the same.
Basic relationship psychology and it's a pain in the ass 🤣
That's how it is
@@nomiddlenamenmn427 yeah but it's mostly women because on the whole women are more chased after and more desirable than men....a highly attractive woman if she has a special figure with wide hips and thin slightly bowed legs and thigh gap of 3 or 4 inches will always have men throwing themselves at her even into her 40's and lots of handsome men will be hitting on her but a handsome man even though he scores good looking women cannot get the same massive attention as a woman...I would say out of all relationships in which one partner is the nasty cruel abusive one controlling things it's 70% woman the abusive partner and only 30% man the abusive lying cheating controlling partner (whoever is getting attention wherever they go can afford to be picky and can tend to be rude and abusive to those who are too needy and are addicted to them...what keeps these relations going is amazing mind blowing sex and if a woman loses one sex partner she knows plenty of others are available for her choosing)..women get the most attention because p*ssy is the boss of this world...men will do anything for it
@@rosecosplay349 it's easy to understand...whoever gets attention gets validation and compliments and is made to feel attractive or desirable in ways which bolster their ego or confidence and sense of self worth...if that attention gets taken away they feel some loss and need to get it from someone else...for a very attractive woman it doesn't matter who...she will likely be selfish and narcissistic and using her body to snare men sexually and then take advantage of them in several ways so nobody will be really special to her...these days there are plenty of weak men wanting to worship an attractive woman with nasty qualities...really it's what elites/hollyweird/msm)democrats are all about...woman as boss..woman as gender placed over man

From Foster to Sheppard is the difference between a underage teen and adult woman...they also are both Hitchcockian blondes. Look alike...same idea...the ending is very ambiguous...its all in his mind
Could someone please direct me to an interview where Martin Scorsese or Paul Schrader confirm that this sequence is real? Because it wouldn’t make sense for Betsy to get into Travis’s cab after he went nuts on her at her place of work and then killed three people🤔 I find it possible that he did not die after the shootout, but Betsy actions only makes sense if it’s all in his head.
I agree. After watching Joker and it's sequences of imagined meetings with the love interest neighbor, we all must revisit movies like Taxi Driver and You Were Never Really Here. It does seem entirely plausible that this entire sene is simply a figment of Travis' imagination.
@@rodnertylerduo4115 Agree, this is his imagination. There's no way in hell she would ghost him for making a harmless dating mistake then jump into his cab after he shot and killed people. Nope.

I'm trying to understand the connection the film is drawing between Iris and Betsy.
Connection is iris lost like Travis Betsy is what Travis wanted to be now don’t, I think Travis related to iris in terms of she is lost and needs help like him he can’t help himself so wants to help her ,where as Betsy she don’t she on top got a lot of support Travis longed for her, when he got on top over one incident his ego said she was nothing left her now he is back where he began but with an ego
Iris is a hooker for Sport and Betsy is a hooker for Palantine .Both Palantine and Sport are pimps and they both pay Travis 20 dollars.
Iris is a hooker for Sport and Betsy is a hooker for Palantine. In Travises mind both Sport and Palantine are nothing more than pimps.

DO YOU THINK ¿? he has dreamed about it his and never happened¿? Because he hasn´t got any wound. Or yes it has happened but it was too time ago.
Scorcese confirmed that it happened and it wasn't a dream

The most realistic interpretation of this scene is that it's Bickle's dying dream after the shootout.
Yes, he rescued an underage prostitute but the fact is he murdered three people and would not be back driving a cab.
He'd be in prison.
Travis went MGTOW forty years before it became a thing.
Honestly, the whole fight, asking betsy out every single thing was in his mind. He was schizophrenic, with delusions of grandeur and night time driving messed with his hormones and ruined his sleep schedule which exacerbates everything
