When I think back, I realized arenas PvP is only fun when it's a dps role meta - Support roles simply do not belong in PvP, especially in 1v1 and 2v2 maps
Bro pvp has been broken for years now…. To many trolls in the game. Mfs think they are “good” at the game spamming powers. There is no point in playing it until they do something. (If they do something)
I put out on the forums notes on what arena’s need to be fixed, but I don’t know if they’ll look at it. Role debuffs isn’t bad but the main issue would probably be dmg output in my eyes. Specifically from weapons, hard hitting weapon combos force players to confine to the system of catching counters like Blocking, lunging, catching block breaks.. if they don’t they’ll die^
That's good but if they can hide behind shields while spamming till we blocx then it'll make the problem worse, now they have spamming and getting strong counters, we need role debuffs to balance out PvP it'll force them too actually fight and not depend on hiding in stealth and shields.
@@BrainRemover Well powers do need nerfs as you mentioned, and if those nerfs are applied with my suggestion about weapon damage being increased, I’m pretty sure everything would be fine honestly. Imagine nerfing mental reflect to the ground with, painblast hitting low dmg with a long cd & high power cost. Then imagine being able to role debuff it? Sounds a bit underpowered in my head at-least, now mental will be in a even worse position. The goal isn’t to make powers useless, its to properly balance them out after all
Now I know this doesn’t have much to do with this current video but in all honesty, scrims in 2024 in arena have lost all meaning just because of what you see in this video. There’s very few differences between Open World PvP and Arena when it comes to all of this glitching and ally abusing. People can cry about “oh how arts are broken” but I really don’t see why people complain about arts if you’re just gonna Que arenas and use allies. Of course one of the biggest issues in DC as of now is Hecate. As a Hecate user myself, I am well aware of how broken the artifact is however, I’m not just going to completely ignore other artifacts that are broken. I’m getting kinda sick and tired of people crying Hecate this Hecate that but you inspect them and they’re using Clarion, Fang, or Mercy. Stop crying about Hecate being op when you’re using a 1 shot artifact yourself. Whatever this rumor that’s going around about a toughness update, let me explain why that won’t change anything about the game. Toughness is not the issue in PvP, the problem is that we have Artifacts that scale off of PvE stats so toughness doesn’t even matter. Saying being in full PvE is not gonna do anything. Being in Full PvE gear has never did anything to begin with. The only reason it’s done is because people are maxing out a stat to abuse their artifact. Imma start needing DC community to use their brains a little more and stop just agreeing with what the other mercy user said, with what the other clarion user said, with what the other Hecate user said because I swear, reading some of the comments just makes me wonder if they’re talking out the ass.
But nah now you see why I decline all Arena scrims. I don’t have the patience for people using allies in arena or doing cheese 1 shots to claim quick kills. If they wanna see me in On duty for PvP, it’s Legends only
