I had a traumatic movie experience with 4 movies. The first movie was The Stepfather (2009), the trailer traumatized me cause I thought Amber Heard's character was gonna die but when I watched the movie she didn't. Then it was Hostel Part II the part where Bijou Phillips' character was tortured, then Us (2019) the Tyler's deaths scene and finally It Came From The Desert the swimsuit striptease scene. As a result of watching these 4 movies I was afraid to watch new movies but then I mustered the courage to watch Watership Down and to my surprise it didn't traumatize me like the four movies did and my confidence was restored. Then one fateful night I had a nightmare with Us. After I woke up I became obsessed with Us and I wanted to watch it again and I was thinking about it, I imagined James Horner's music in my head and so I rewatched the four movies and conquered my fears. After this I was no longer traumatized by the four movies.
1:19 to 2:20 That part didn't make it into the final film, rather it was just part of "The Flying Dragon" again. Shame, cause those magnificent strings really portray a sense of nobility and courage newly discovered within Richard that would have made the fight greater rather than readdress the same 'danger' music again.
The queue at 4:12 is similar to the climactic music which James Horner also composed for "Aliens" (and which 20th Century Fox recycled for the climax of "Die Hard").

"Baby, you're the greatest!" If you are as fond of this film as I, ignore the haters. It's lovingly made and a truly strong feature.
I'm with you. I don't understand why the haters, especially the critics hated this movie. It's fantastic that features the Star Trek cast.
I ignore the haters too. I love the Pagemaster, it's underrated and it needs more love
6:50 "Hey, that's me!" "That _was_ you."

I love the Pagemaster movie! I'm a huge fan of it!

Deleted scenes. Bits of them I saw in the promo and on trading cards. Sucks I know.
A Dragon that eats books.
I love the part where the Pagemaster sends him back
James Horner uses some of the same stuff he did in "The Wrath of Khan," appropriately enough, considering how many Star Trek cast members are in this.

music to give your soul away too
Sounds a little bit like The Land Before Time.
Same composer.
4:50 when Gaylor Jacobsmeyer wins his fight against his arch-nemesis Captain Harrison Picaroon.

I think The Pagemaster, Return to Neverland, and one of my stories Jerry Jacobsmeyer go together
6:12-6:22, Horner sounds a lot like John Williams right there!
Sorry, It's Okay. James Horner Is R.I.P. 1953-2015

You made a good point. But I can different between John Williams' and James Horner's music.
