I almost said something last week with regards to the butter, but decided not to. I will now, though. There is a good in-between option. Tillamook has an "extra creamy" butter. It's higher fat, less water than the cheap ones, but just under the level of Kerrigold. I really like it, and get it from my local Kroger -owned store (it's Fry's, here in AZ).
