Do you guys have any interest in making DM Guides for the side quests players can find themselves in? My players are going to be heading to the lighthouse (Tower of Storms) soon and, since I know them, I'm sure they'll also end up at Shrine of Savras and the Circle of Thunder too. I have watched your entire playthrough which went through two of those (no spoilers!) and it was both entertaining and very helpful but to complete your DM guide videos I feel like it would be awesome to have these three spots covered too. I'm also curious on your guys thoughts about players heading to explore Neverwinter... How should a DM handle that for this campaign? I've seen some other content creators videos on the city but I'd love to hear your take too.
It’s something we have discussed when we finished things up a few months ago. Maybe Tower of Storms could be an option. The other two side quests don’t have too much to them but if the demand is there, we may just make them! As for handling Neverwinter, for me as the DM it would depend on what the group wanted to do there. If it was to buy supplies or something simple like that, I’d probably just gloss over it to keep the action moving. If it was more than that, I’d probably want more details from them so I could make something that fit the need. These are really good questions and we appreciate you asking us for specific content! Could the homebrew Gulthias tree be from the monsters know what they're doing blog? I got curious as my party is headed here probably later this month so I started doing research and I found what seems to be a similar version to what you described under the "blight tactics." Hopefully if it is, you'll be able to post/comment somewhere so people know. It looks really interesting.
I think it was!! I tweaked the hp a little but that looks like it’s about exactly what I did! INCREDIBLE find!! Thank you!! www.themonstersknow.com/blight-tactics/
@@JNJTabletop Glad I was able to help! I hadn't considered making the tree a monster, it makes sense, I thought their challenge was going to be to destroy it roots and all. I like to force them to think. We'll see which route I go. Thank you again for the excellent videos!
Awesome vid man. Just read up on this part last night, looking forward to running it!
Cool! I hope to get the box in mail tomorrow! Have fun with your group!
Always glad to hear you’re tips and advice 🎉
