I'm leaving this comment here that way whenever someone likes it I'm reminded of how far God has brought me since my years of praying for death daily. If you're feeling down pick your head up just a little higher right now and trust that God's got you even If it's dark for a long long time.

I'm doing my best to fight through my doubt and unbelief. I'm constantly attacked with thoughts of wanting to give up and just not care about Christianity anymore. This song is one of the many tools the Holy Spirit is using to see me through this period of my life. I proclaim Jesus' name forever!
I get the same thoughts. Know that the doubt validates that God IS with you and for you. The devil wants to deceive you, but trust God will get you through. Don't trust your emotions. Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee
It's never too late, God ALWAYS wins in the end. No matter who you are or what you've done, God/Jesus loves you and can forgive ANYTHING. Sarah was barren, so was Rebecca, Rachel, Ruth, Hanna, and Elizabeth. GOD does the impossible so we know it is Him doing it. Then God gets the glory and PRAISE for it. It strengthens our faith and trust. God tells us what He is going to do, and confirms it with scripture, He just doesn't tell us how He is going to do things. Faith isn't in what we can see, but what we can't see, those things are eternal.

Even as imperfect sinners ourselves, we don’t give up on trying to reach other people as we are commanded to do so. Then On The Way (Up), on our next-to-last vacation together. She was a minister, and now with the Lord, but this song describes everything I ever wanted -- for her. Gone sooner than expected.

I like the melody, but am troubled by the lyrics as they are completely unbiblical. No where in scripture does it say we are worthy of anything. But, it does say we are desperately wicked, and IN NEED OF SAVING. Our souls need saving because there is none good, no not one. We have ALL gone out of the way and become UNPROFITABLE! There is none who seeketh after God. We NEED saving, because we are not worth saving. But, because God is loving and unwilling to damn us all, He saves some by sacrificing His Son, Jesus Christ!
