This is absolutely my most favorite Christian song because it represents the heart of the true Living God. My understanding of the Holy Bible is it is Greek without meaning to those that do not believe on the name of Jesus Christ. Which makes perfect sense if you don't believe. Yet when we come to believe it opens up our eyes to the things of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus tells the disciples how we will know the time is near. Bible prophecy from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Out of all the things that Jesus prophesize in Matthew chapter 24 the one that sticks out to me the most is he says his gospel will be preached in every nation. So how cool is it that this video that is being shared around the world brought you to Jesus. I mean Beyond profound because Jesus Christ himself said his gospel would be preached and somehow he knew that we would have air travel that we would have social media and all the tools that are being used to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I mean the whole world is talking about Jesus over 2000 years after he was crucified. Even those that do not believe are still speaking his name. And through the power of God Jesus knew this would be so. Not only do I believe that Jesus Christ personally called you unto him. I believe your testimony has the power to lead many to the cross. Thanks for sharing your truth through the cross of Jesus Christ.

I first heard this song when I was in prison for a year and a half. I was sitting in the back of the chapel crying like a baby. Prison saved my life. I'm drug free today. I even got baptized in prison!!! God is amazing!!

Jesus saved me from my heroin addiction. Got saved at 20 then found opiates at 21. From 21-24 i was addicted to opiates. I recently called out to Him to help me and a week later, i was in rehab. 64 days clean today and never going back. By the grace of GOD ALONE I AM HERE TODAY. Everyone feels things differently. A bad situation for you may be nothing for the next person and something bad for that person might be nothing for you. We are all in different areas of our walk and God knows exactly what each can handle in their current situations. It is true that the video puts things into perspective, but don't look down on yourself, what you are going through is challenging for you. So rather let this motivate you to be thankful for the small things, trust Him for the big, encourage you to help those around you and to remember that you were wonderfully and fearfully made, and have purpose. God knows us so well and is always waiting with His arms wide open to embrace us when we feel we can't carry on. That is why He is our Father.
I agree. All too often I saw people my age way too caught up in "catastrophic" problems like not enough followers on Twitter, people having conservative views that conflicted with liberal democratic progressivism, and my personal favorite, the victim complex of minorities. The first-world has forgotten God and what He did for us, replacing him with an unshakable prison of sin. But in the third-world, they dream of the things we have and they humble themselves before God. We can learn something from them if we did the same.

As a missionary to Jamaica for 18 year's I can tell you this is "overwhelming" work. To see kids grow to be pastors, to woman's ministries, to children's ministries. lm old now and worn slap wore out but my eyes still see my heart is still overwhelmed

Jesus is alive forever as He is King of kings and Lord of lords and He saves all who put their faith and repent of sin, confess and forsake it genuinely and in Truth. God can legally let us live forever, we broke His law, Jesus paid our fine, He can do what is legal and just and right let us walk on judgment day when we all give account to God for our lives. when you genuinely put your faith in Jesus and repent of sin, confess and forsake genuinely you have God's promise you have life eternal as a free gift, God promises this, God Who cannot lie. God will wash you clean from all sin, seal you with His Holy Spirit and give you a new heart that loves righteousness instead of sin. a personal miracle for sin loving humans, so if you want a personal miracle seek after God with a whole heart and you will find Jesus, follow God’s ways and watch His work in your life He will never leave or forsake you and never let you down. I was born and lived in the democratic republic of the congo for the first 7 years of my life. I always remember that though my family of 7 lived in the smallest one room house and lacked food daily, we were so joyous. The joy of the Lord surpasses everything and lacks in nothing. I believe I was more happy there than in America. We get caught up in so much distractions here. We have everything but nothing at the same time. Oh my this video is so beautiful. God is good.

You look at these people in this remote village and what do you see? You don't see hate, you don't see animosity towards the visitors - you see a human innocence that is absent in western society. I think of all of the material blessings the west has and how we sometimes take it for granted. We almost turn our noses down at these people when in fact we should be looking up to these people. How great would it be to love everybody equally like Jesus would? Let's appreciate the love God brings and not concentrate on the evil!
Well said! I see people, who possibly unbeknownst to themselves, follow the word of God and the teachings of Jesus. They live a simple life, the village bands together to take care of one another, everyone has a part in society and they do their part. They live, they love and they laugh.
Don't get too caught up. Village life may not be what it seems. In Kenya or Tanzania, village life is simple, but not necessarily easier. Take it from me, I live there. And note we're all human, we all need Jesus. The life He offers is counter-cultural to every society, from a Maasai village to Wall Street.

I went back to Kenya in 2016 for 16 days and since then I've been wondering what those children were singing at the end of that song. Your answer brought me to tears. Not only is the truth in the song beautiufl, but so to is every single image in this video shot in Tanzania, just below Kenya where I was. The Maasai people are known as some of Africa's most fierce hunters and warriors. But the kindness we experienced when we were lost on a mountain and they brought us in to live with them was amazing. The Acacia Trees, the manyattas, the khangas, the shukahs, the elders, the children, the smiles, the smoke raising from the huts, the dancing, the music, the torn clothing, the red dusty and dry land, the beaded adornment, the goats, the cows, the herding, the sunset, the everything. My heart feels them every day even still

Since God made us from the soil, I believe that this man was born with no eyes. Jesus used the soil - mud from the ground and His own saliva - to create new eyes for him.

He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing." How could JESUS open his eyes if he did not have eyes. Most blind people have eyes but can't see.
@@lindachennault7222 Where in the scripture you quoted does it say that Jesus "opened" the man's eyes? It just said that he came away seeing.
What I said was not "scripture," it was just another way of understanding it. Why else would Jesus use soil this one time He healed the blind man? No other healing of vision was done this way.
It really doesn't matter which way it was - Jesus caused the blind man to see.

(He had eyes but was blind in his eyes.) V 10 "Therefore they said unto him, How were thine eyes opened?" ( I know JESUS didn't say HE opened them but these people did. The point I am trying to make is that JESUS anointed HIS eyes. HE could not do that if they weren't there.) V 1 says that the man "was blind from birth."
