For sure. If the ref is speaking to someone, they're off-limits until the ref clears out. Plus, you get welts and bruises that much easier if you get sprayed point-blank.

Well they were all hit already, so I think the ref did his job.
Well, I mean, the other team knew they were there so the ref def didn't give them away. He DID distract them though, but from the looks of it, some of them may have already been out.
It kind of sucks but there's really no other way for refs to do their job but to walk up to where people are.

I've always played sports and am a competitive person. From my experiences paintball and airsoft are a blast in moment but there's always cheaters and that just takes away from the competitiveness and integrity. First time seeing your channel and I applaud your sportsmanship but I've found there's more people not like you than there are, even on my team, and videos like this reinforce why I gave up on this sport. Best of luck amigo
That's why you just play with a small group of friends. Never once did I suspect cheating in my group... More often than nought we'd just have problems with paintballs not breaking, Probably because we always buying the cheap stuff... But our rule was it has to be a splatter, it has to break, splatter needs to be roughly larger than a quarter in size...

I play this in the UK all the time. Got to say sometimes the armour we wear doesn't transmit a hit. I've looked down a few times to see oppos colour on me without knowing. but called myself out as soon as I realise. The noise covers up the noise, so some honest blokes feel bad about being called cheats.
Always found the prevalence of plate carriers and body armour in both paintball and airsoft is detrimental to gameplay. By all means wear the toughest EDFE (in order of importance - eyes, dick, face, ears) protection you can get hold of, but for the sake of the odd welt its much better for gameplay if players wore thin layers.
@@Debbiebabe69 I only ever played paintball two times way back in the day, but thin layers meant you got HIT. There's no guessing. That shit hurt... and that's why I thought it was a legit sport.
"Mad Jack" Churchhill was known for playing bagpipes during battles in WW2, he also stormed the beaches of Normandy with a Scottish long sword. He had several kills with a long bow also.

Paintball is so different from when I played. I started in the 80s with a pmi 1 that looked like a shotgun and I wore Vietnam era military gear I bought at an army surplus store in Slidell by the pound. I even had a Vietnam era army helmet with the internal shell.
Watching this in 2022. This gets me pumped. I want to play again. I haven't played in over 10 years.

I was a Ranger then Operator for 16 years. Took my little cousins to paintball it was great. The 3 of us took out a team of 16, well they just covered my six while I took out a team of 16 🤣🤣🤣

fun fact, the bagpipes being played actually happened at D-Day. his name was the Lone Piper and he walked up and down the beach in full view of the german guns and fire and never stopped playing his pipes, giving many soldiers enough hope and energy to attack the german outposts. the Lone Piper is re-created at all military tattoos (displays and parade of military) and all throughout scottish culture. Many people who survived D-day still remember to this day the tunes he played and he is often referenced as a 'madman' for his lack of care for any bullets coming his way.

The apparent Para Drop in this is similar to the Mercenary squad concept in a 1,000 player 2002 UK scenario day.
As an Ultimate, I can say that everybody makes 'mistakes' when they think the Marshal isn't looking.

woods ball games like this scenario are notorious for people just continuing play and wiping. There generally aren't enough refs to babysit 200 people so they take advantage of it.

Sometimes when you get hit in PAINTball the ball doesn’t break. With that in mind, if it doesn’t break your not out, which is different from air soft

I got hit between my upper lip and my nose one time by a high powered paint ball rifle and it hurt bad. Busted my lip and I was blowing paint out of my nose and mouth for a good hour after.

i played one time in rural iowa where there was a lot of irregular topography and heavy brush , logs etc.
i got i too a hollow fully covered and picked off guy one by one . no one ever,located my position . after i heard the final whistle i came into the start area and got blasted with a barrage of pellets .

Dude I went for my first time paintballing the other day at a place called pig (paintball is good, near Birmingham Alabama). We were playing on a map they called mounds which is basically just a bunch of dirt piles. My team decided we would have 3 or 4 of us try to flank them from the left while me and another guy went right and while they were focused on us have the remaining grouo go down the middle. Well my friend and I get to our positions in the left and we realize, only 3 people on the other team have moved out from behind the starting mound. So we decided to move up a little to get clear shots on them. We hit all of them like 3 times a piece but they didn't call hit. So we had to get the ref on them. It was annoying.

no, each platoon has a doctor, in these games a realistic environment is sought, so if you are shot you have the task of acting a temporary death and the role of the doctor is to revive it .... they are rules of the game more than anything
