Wil b visiting Hanoi early next year..need advice- better to book a ground tour to travel to other tourists attractions or go on yr own n its cheaper?eg.fem hanoi to sapa, halong Bay etc ...tqvm
personally we did on our own since we wanted to explore specific places only, everything is relatively affordable in vietnam so if you want to not plan your trip and everythig will be done you should go for the tours, but if you want your own free time to explore, hanoi is very easy to navigate without a tour guide~
Ninh Binh was the only one we booked for a tour guide since we needed it to have transportation included as well, the tour we got was on Klook and it was worth it, i have a discount code for all activities: marifranceriklook
