@@ThatOneSceneDude Dude, I grew up in the 90s. I'm 33 years old. This is great for today's music. There are definitely 90s elements within it. The production sounds more modern/polished. Still good though.
@@ThatOneSceneDude You can hear the 90s influences of Catherine Wheel, Deftones, Smashing Pumpkins, Hum, Failure, etc. but they also bring elements of the 21st century and the forgotten "90s revival" of the 2000s like Manchester Orchestra, Silversun Pickups. The guitar riffage is pretty unique and innovative and songwriting is good. Tired of these retro-elitists putting their nose up at any new bands. I love 90s rock too, but these guys combine all of the elements of those aforementioned bands in a fantastic package. My dad is a baby boomer and always keeps up with new bands and he likes these guys too.
90s alternative, grunge etc was peak when I was in my early 20s. This brings me back. Nobody does this stuff anymore. Thanks!!

This is the best song Teenage Wrist has put out since Kamtin Mohager left the band. It's got this early Smashing Pumpkins vibe mixed with a guitar hook that reminds me of early Deftones.

Holy hell. I just seen your ad playing at the local venue here in Milwaukee at the X-Ray Arcade and your name kinda grabbed my attention. So I looked your band up on Wikipedia and then came here to listen to the most recent song and just wow. I'm a music junkie since the mid 80's growing up on metal, hair bands, hip hop and euro new wave so my collection and tastes are vast and wide. I had almost all, but given up on modern rock (if anyone wants to call it rock music anymore) until I just listened to this track not just once, but twice. Whoa, if your sound is similar to this track you just gained a fan, not to mention ticket purchaser for your show in Milwaukee when you stop here. Thank you for knowing and playing actual rock music, you warmed this 44 year old's headbanging heart up. 😊. So first of all I had to check this out after seeing it says feat Softcult. I guess I always liked shoegaze even if I wasn't an expert on the ins and outs of the genre. Funny enough though I also enjoyed Courage My Love before and love SoftCult even more. This is the kind of song that just gives me the chills. @Mercedes Arn-Horn killed it on this track.
