Just like biblical and historical evidence proves that jesus and his apostles were vegatarians biblical and historical evidence also proves that the trinity, atonement, original sin and hell are very late misinterpretations and are not supported by the early creed hence its not a part of Christianity I pray that Allah swt revives Christianity both inside and out preserves and protects it and makes its massage be witnessed by all people but at the right moment, place and time
The secred text of the Bible says ye shall know them by their fruits
So too that I say to my christian brothers and sisters be fruitful and multiply

I am so thankful that I`m not a Theologian, who almost always wade out into the deep things of Scripture and drowns, just a child who wades into the deep things
of God and is held up by taught His Spirit. You can call me an "old solider of the cross" for some reason God backed me up to the cross as a sinner and not as a
victim. Jesus Christ took my punishment, past, present and future on Himself, covered me in His precious Blood before God the Father. That to me is substitutionary
atonement, for my soul but He will be my Christus Victor on the day I cast my crowns from a new body, before Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I agree with Christus Victor but I dont know that I agree that it is exclusive and contrary to Ransom theory. Mainly because I dont subscribe to total deprivity (aka slavery of the will). We could discuss this further but because I dont hold to slavery of the will I hold ransom theory and Christus Victor simultaniously and dont have a problem doing so. This doesnt have to be an either or like you paint it in this video. However the last part on DEUT 32, Daniel 7, and Ephesians 2 was great!

What about Romans 7 and Galatians 5 where Paul says, "you cannot do the things you want to do" when referring to doing good? I think, personally, why do we have to paint a general brush across all humanity? Why couldn't it be both? Some hearts are like wax, while others are like clay. God's light shines on both, yet one will harden and one will melt (summarizing Origen).
He still came to save sinners (everyone collectively) but it's up to the sinner if they're wanting to be saved or rejecting the idea of it. If the former, then that person wanted to; if the latter, they're the one loving their sin and not caring to be saved.

I am sooo confused, I only recently found out there is even a debate. I mean the word is the word, How is it there is a pitting one part of the word against the other, The Bible clearly states so much in favor of propitiation and ALSO States so much in favor of Victory over sin and death
Why is there a debate of one side verse the other, I recently seen a video of a woman who left one church and went to another and all the previous songs as all about the atonement, and now they are all about the victory at the cross, and I realised the church I go to has the atonement, and no songs about the victory and I am already getting disillusioned by so many man made doctrines that are in the church, from calvinism to dispensationalism and sabbath keeping and then apart from these there are the welcoming of sin worldliness and yaga AA and every other spiritualism

  • @kevinrombouts3027

I enjoyed the video but can you please look at Romans 7: 18 - 19 in which Paul outlines his slavery to sin by saying the good he wants to do, he finds he is unable to do it and the bad he does nor want to do, he finds himself doing. His impulse is to do good but he keeps failing.

    • @SpaceCadet4Jesus

Paul's body, as is ours, is still under corruption and it's habitual inclination towards events and attitudes of disobedience will be with us until we depart such body. That is one reason to
"Work out your salvation with fear and trembling". Work being effort towards and the fruit of a continual active relationship with Jesus, as he is the vine, we are the branches.

I am a Christian. But every now and then this thought comes across! If your average Joe has some sin, some lousy behavior and He repents He is truly sorry, He changes. Why is the whole Passion necessary. If a sinner stays lost to sin, with no change of heart, the Passion won't help him anyway.

    • @SpaceCadet4Jesus
      @SpaceCadet4Jesus 4 місяці тому +2

The Passion is necessary because it fulfills the prophecies of the Old Testament and demonstrates God’s love for humanity. It’s not just about the physical suffering but also about the spiritual significance of Jesus’ sacrifice, which provides a path to reconciliation with God for those who accept him in faith.
The idea is that no amount of human repentance alone can reconcile humanity to God because of the spiritual nature of sin. The Passion of Christ is seen as the only sufficient and perfect sacrifice to bridge that gap. It’s a gift of grace, meaning it’s given freely and not earned by human effort. So, while personal repentance is crucial, it’s the acceptance of Jesus’ sacrifice and who he is that is believed to be the key to salvation.

Aquinas is pro-PS: Accordingly Christ willed to submit to death for our sins so that, in taking on Himself without any fault of His own the punishment charged against us, He might free us from the death to which we had been sentenced, in the way that anyone would be freed from a debt of penalty if another person undertook to pay the penalty for him. (Compendium Theologiae, 227). Eleanore Stump missed this.

Christus Victor opens the proverbial “door” to a much bigger universe. It’s like in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory that leads to the room where everything is edible.
It reveals to us our eternal destiny with God, seated to reign with Christ, exalted higher than angels- because Christ defeated sin, death and the evil powers.

Prior to the will being redeemed, one ought to recognise God is not only love in His nature but also justice. Her view is more philosophical rather than scriptural.

RC Sproul says God, the First person of the Trinity, poured out his wrath, damned, turned his back, cut off, and cursed God HIS Son the second person of the Trinity.
    "No one speaking by the Spirit of God can say, "Jesus is accursed!""1 Corinthians 12:3;
"Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent-
 the Lord detests them both!"
    Proverbs 17:15
Why can't Protestants see that this for sure ontologically tears apart the Eternal Holy Trinity and is a pure heresy, and so they misinterpret their proof texts?
    (John 10:30)
When they try to defend this heresy they must make Jesus into two persons which is the Nestorian heresy.
This was never taught until Anselm and John Calvin made it worse. And the Bible refutes it and Sproul.
The Father always loves the son! 1 John 4:8
"God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself!"
    2 Corinthians 5:19
God was not pouring out wrath on himself.
"Jesus says, "I and the Father we are one!"
    John 10:30
RC Sproul has the wrong Trinity and therefore the wrong God.
The Bible and Eastern Orthodox teach Christus Victor!
Jesus is Victorious over death, sin, and the devil! Jesus is not a victim of God's wrath and damned!
    (Acts 3:15)
"The consequence of our sin is death!" Romans 6:23
But God in the person of Jesus Christ willingly (John 10:17-18) and in his love for us (John 15:13) became a man like us in every way except sin
    (John 1:1-3, 14; 8:46).
Jesus lived a sinless life, forgave sins and healed people ( Mark 2:1-12), drove out demons, fulfilled the law (Matthew 5:17) and in love (Romans 5:8) was crucified on our behalf because Jesus was sinless and did not have to die.
The reason Jesus died was so he could free the captives in Hades (1 Peter 3:18-19) and raise bodily from the dead in order to conquer death, sin, and the devil and restore his creation.
    (1 Corinthians 15:17; Revelation 1:17-18; Romans 8:18-23)
"Since the children have flesh and blood, Jesus too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death-that is, the devil- and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death!"
    Hebrews 2:14-15; 1 John 3:8
"Jesus told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and remission of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem!"
    Luke 24:46-47
"Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will!"
    2 Timothy 2:25-26
That is the true Gospel which does not have God the Father cursing and damning His Son but always loving his Son and saving us!
    1 Corinthians 12:3;
    2 Corinthians 5:19
    Proverbs 17:15
    Sproul has the wrong God!
Jesus says, "Eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent!"
    John 17:3
    CHRIST IS RISEN!
    JESUS CHRIST CONQUERS!
