But do you know how to make a bomb that will blow your kitchen apart an the microwave door right off?
It's an easy 10 minute countdown on a really nice strong microwave,, add a couple of eggs with a few potatoes the same size set the timer for 10 minutes and better run to hide!
The egg and a potato have to be kissing each other at the same time might make it work better LOL
😮 never mustard on a baked potato
❤️ bake potatoes & butter
Please consider mustard on potatoes
My house smells and looks like a fire happen. Maybe cus one did
The best part was not even the recipe but the face reflection 😂
I did not notice until reading this comment and replaying the video. Now I understand the above comment that mentions Jason. 😊
i was rushing to see if anybody else noticed that 😂
shaa shaa shaa, shee shee shee...
Yesss I was bout to comment til I seen this it was scary 😨
Wha…?
Thank you for making the video short and to the point. So often the same video would be 20 minutes, starting with the history of the potato.
Facts!
I won't watch videos over 5 minutes! Because I know it's one or two minutes of good info & 15 minutes of oral diarrhea!!
Good video
"Starting with the history of the potato" 😂🤣👍 spot on!
How right you are! And, not only video clips but also articles will force you to scan over a dozen paragraphs before the click bait appears. I guess they have to make room for the ads.
I was fully smiling and supporting this video until he added...mustard. You must be Jason in real life
Right? It makes sense on fries, so I follow the logic, but....
Barrff
TOTALLY! I had a smile and then he did that.
LOL same. I was like "Is he going to add chemical butter to it?!" then bam. Mustard. WHYYY?! haha
I thought it was cheese! 😂
That was quick and easy, right to the point. Thank you!
CAREFUL IT'S HOT!!!
*immediately touches it with bare hand*
Plate would be hotter!

I was with you up to drying the potato but then I usually leave the potato moist, wrap it in a paper towel, then bake it, in the microwave oven. It is done beautifully, and I can top it with my choices. I don't like mustard, so that doesn't go on mine. God bless.
The mask in the microwave window got me 🤣
Hilarious! It was so casual that I had to pause and replay it to see if I actually saw what I thought I saw. 😂
I thought i was hallucinatijg😂
jason vorhees out here baking potatoes 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for a GREAT tip. I have been doing it wrong for years. Wrapped in paper towel gave varying results.
This how Jason Voorhees bakes his potatoes.
Nice touch, Jason!
I’m not making this without putting the same mask on. It keeps things on an even keel. 😂
I have never seen mustard on a baked potato and I don't know how I feel about that
it was such an unsettling thing to see lmao
Mustard & ketchup on French fries what’s the damn difference?
@@marsoblivi0n945 I have never had mustard on french fries. I did not know that was a thing.
@@christylbk It isn't a thing. These people are either trolling or are in the .000001 percent of who would actually do that.
@@marsoblivi0n945Nobody eats mustard on fries either so😐🙄
OK....after rinsing the potato.......put it on top of a dry paper towel, 3 pieces if you have the tear a piece kind, then put about a teaspoon of olive oil on both sides of same and then put some salt and pepper on top and use the course style and then wrap the potato with the paper towel. 5 minutes is good and leave it wrapped for at least 2 minutes. Unwrap.....put a nice slit down the top like they said and then squish it open a little and put butter and a little Sour Cream in on top of the butter and a little more normal pepper on top and then sprinkle some fresh cut up chives on top~~~~and NOW you have a Fantastic Baked Potato to TALK ABOUT!!!
Thank you, great video. I will try this for sure.
the caucastity of this man to put mustard on a baked potato
Thank you for this slow step by step video on how to do it in a microwave, I was nervous to try it.
I will always stick a toothpick into the middle of the potato and make sure the inside is soft, then it's done. Then I put mine into the toaster oven for about 5 minutes and get it nice and crispy.
Great tip! Thank you.
Thanks for reminding me what I did for lunch during my teaching days!
Easy fast and delicious thank you
Oh man , I had a good rewind chuckle on this one 😅....love tube's like this
Mustard????
No. No mustard!
There's food that you just don't put mustard on...potatoes is one of them! 🧐
never seen someone put mustard on a baked potato
The Jason part was a nice touch
Thanks for this!
Ahh. It's nice so see someone else with class... MUSTARD ON EEEVERYTHING!
Thanks for sharing!
im glad you told me to put it in the microwave i may have forgotten
I tried putting it on top the microwave. It didn't work.
Min O:54 what the??
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for the informative video. Baked potato for dins yum yum
Exellent😊
You were great, right up to the mustard.
Thanks Jason
MUSTARD?!???!!!
im like df
Definitely a psychopath
Revolutionary!
Jason, the Hockey 🏒 mask is creative. Suggest broil the outer for some minutes. Best to turn the broiler ON when nuking 😂. Nice One ❤
Wait was Jason making those potato?? Who knew he was into potatoes lol 😂
He was so gentle poking it too lol
What’s the internal temperature tho? It looks like it got too hot and would be gummy
The Jason mask makes up for the mustard.
Thanks, cba cooking and you've saved me from getting takeout. Beans and cheese on mine 🥔
wow! what a revelation! I'd would have never have guessed!
ive always made it in a bowl with water…… this is life changing😂
Jacket potato needs a crispy skin, so cover in a little oil and finish in the oven or air fryer. Also, instead of pricking with a fork cut around the circumference with a knife. When cooked the potato will cut/break in half nice and easy.
I wonder if Jason cooks a mean grandma casserole while prepping for tea time.
As a fan of many types of mustard, I had to have a new experience by having horseradish mustard and potato. Mustard gang~
Gag!
Thank you!
What kind of potato is best for baking, for thick skin? Russet? Other?
Will try this. Thanks "Jason"! 😂
Close after trying many methods I settled on 1. wash 2. Poke twice, from one side with a narrow blade knife going roughly 1/2 way through. 3. Rewet the potato and wrap very well with micro-proof cling film. Cook for 5 minutes on high, wait 3-4 minutes then flip and cook another 3-5 minutes. Depending on the size of the spud cook times may need to be extended by 1-3 minutes per side on a really big spud or reduced for a small one.
No thank you.Heating food in plastic is TOXIC!
Micro wave' wrap cling isn't. It's BPA, free. It's clean
A big soft potato makes an awesome meal 😊
Never saw mustard on a baked potato before; but, to each his own.
You must have a low power microwave. I've done the same thing in a 1100 watt microwave for 2 minutes to a side for a medium size baker and it was still a bit too mushy.
I've found that 6-7 minutes is usually enough for smaller potatoes.
Serial killer vibes with the mustard on the potato!! 😂
MMMMMM MUSTARD. 💯💯💯 Tastes sooo yummy with grassfed butter and chives. The combo is a super fat-burning remedy!!! 💯
Mustard!!!! You monster!!!!!
Also yes I am going to go give the mustard a try tight now. 😂
Wash , poke , 6 minutes , eat.
6 min on high you say?
Add mustard
Nice and concise
Thanks!
I am baking potatoes in microvave for years every other day. Not every potao requires 5 min x 2. Depending on the size. How long comes with experience.
Gotta try it. Thanks. Beats hours in the oven.
Medium potato, one hour cooked, you can cook a couple of things to make it more affordable like chicken & then freeze chicken or mince to add to dishes
Check out the reflection in the glass of the door at 0:54 !!
This video is very funny ! Very funny indeed ! Long ago I saw a neighbor take 6 potatoes straight out of the bag and they went straight into the microwave . That micro wave was set for 20 min . Not long after it started there was loud boom from the micro wave . They never did that again . L O L
Plane old Scott Brite pad does fantastic job when washing vegetables while leaving most the skin I prefer to keep skins on
But prefer oven baked potatoes so skin gets a little crunchy
Or peel supper thick and back the skins season a bit and eat with a dipping sauce of your choice like sour cream or hidden valley
You had me until the mustard. Now ketchup would have been one thing, I remember my older brother and sister doing that while chanting "Blood on the spud!" over and over, and thinking it's funny. Mustard I don't know about..
I mean, seasoning is seasoning, but the fact that he put only mustard is terrifying
People put mustard on their fries and potatoes are fries…
@@XXXTENTACIONAYEAYEAYE I am 46 years old and have never seen one person ever put mustard on fries. What planet do you live on?
i do ranch
That will work, just mustard is kind of the wrong kind of flavor for a baked potato is all. And i'm one who uses ketchup and a little mustard with my fries. But fries are different though, at least i'm not some weirdo who puts mayo on my fries!@@littleladrajenah5657
Never go full mustard
Man after washing it , I slap olive oil on if and put it reasonable size plastic bowl with cover over it and 2 and half minutes on one side and again on other side and man you it reallyg good
Thank you
Yes, after ten minutes in a microwave your tummy will thank you.
What do you put on a hotdog, butter?
now that was funny...
Would it be a bad idea if I oiled up the potato in the hopes that the skin would be better?
After the microwave an additional sequence is to place the potatoe in the oven for several minutes and turning it frequently to crisp the skin...delicious.
I just wrap it with aluminium and put it on my gas burner for a few minutes to that its looks like it was made in an real wood burning oven, just like my grandfather from Oaxaca just to make them ❤
Thank you for the tip, Vice President Quayle. 😛
PERFECT MICROWAVE CORN ON THE COB... 1) Leave the corn completely in the husk. 2) Put it in the microwave for 3 mins. 3) Turn it over, cook it again for 3 mins. 4) Take it out with a glove (it's hot). 5) Cut off 1/2 inch of the stalk end. 6) Using the glove, grab the top of the ear holding tightly onto the cornsilk and remaining husk. 7) Wiggle the corn cob around a bit and the corncob will fall right out of the husk without a single hair of cornsilk left on it! 8) Cut off 1/2 inch of the top end. 9) Insert your cornholders. 10) Enjoy an unbelievably and perfectly cooked ear of corn! YOU SIMPLY WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW PERFECTLY THIS COOKS THE CORN! This 3 minutes on each side is with a 1100 W microwave! YOU'RE WELCOME!
my slight improvement that I always do is after I poke holes in it I wrap it in a wet paper towel before cooking and it turns out so good 🥔
I was not expecting jason cooking... i think i like it ? Sounds funny to me the ideia of horror movie characters casualy making how to cook videos.
The hockey mask! LOL
I like baked potatoers!😂
Been doing it like this for 20 years!!!!!!!!
Yep...all well & good, but what is the setting on the microwave, please?! Time will vary as a result!
I am so glad I am not the only one who sold Jason Voorhees there. That would have bothered me all night
In the south we put mustard on everything, try it 😊
How long should you let it cool? I tried splitting a potato after and it was way hot!
I hope you don't use the same knife that you use for your killings Jason!
Come on man! Of course he washes it
You had me up to the point you added mustard😊.
Microwaving for ten minutes? The electricity company must be smiling
45 minutes in an oven.
a Microwave oven uses aprox 1,500 watts per hour, meaning the potato uses 250 watts, at 10 cents per kilowatt hour, equals 2.5 cents, I say its not bad
I wish I paid 10cents a KWH --- you must be in Mississippi.
It's going on 50 years,... how do you set the clock??
I love baked potatoes..
Super scary!!! But good job with potato.
When Jason gets the munchies after swimming in the lake
LOOKS DELICIOUS THANK YOU ❤
Thank you for sharing this recipe!! WHAT'S THE NAME OF THAT SONG IT'S LOVELY!? 12/15/2023
Dang it... is it ok if I wash it afterward, as the last step? See, I d un n et it already.
Wait a second... wash it, poke holes with a fork all over. Cover it with a very wet paper towel cook 6 minutes. I been doing that way for years
Prior to washing start preheating your oven. Microwave 3 minutes a side. Put in oven to finish it off. Speeds up the perfection of an oven baked potato instead of just a heated/cooked spud.
I dont care who you are, i love you!
I wrap mine in cling wrap ,works great,,,a good as those $ 2.35 per tater VONS BOUGHT ,GOOD FOR YAMS AND SWEET POTATOES TOO.
What wattage is your microwave oven?
Mine is 1200 watt.
Yeah, mine is 1200 as well. If I microwave a potato for 10 minutes, it’s going to come out dried up and shriveled…..maybe cause I never poked holes in it?
You don't need tp poke so many holes. I just poke holes with a fork once on each side. When microwaving you can hear the steam coming out of the holes.
Thank you for your lesson but the mustard on the potato was a violation
😅😅😅 I feel u king, 10 mins for one dry ass nuked potato with mustard? His taste buds different.
😆
Thanks
They say you shouldn’t poke a bunch of holes in the potato because it lets out all the moisture instead you only put a cut in the potato at each end about 1/2 inch in
instead of poking holes, slice potato halfway through with a knife. microwave until potato is about 3/4 done (flipping once). wrap potato in tin foil and let sit for ten minutes (it will finish cooking). the skin will be moist and pliable, not dry and tough...
If you don't follow the directions and poke the holes first you will get an exploding spud in your microwave.
