OMG I smelled TL last week and I agree with you, the first thing that came to my mind while smelling this was the leather of the seats of a very expensive car; it reminded me of the time I had the privilege of riding a Maserati Quattroporte. Expensive leather scent. No doubt about it and the drydown is so irresistibly yummy !! I'm a woman and I can definitely pull this out.

I love TL, I did a battle between this and my favourite designer fragrance Sauvage EDP, you can hate but you can't deny it's performance.
So at 8pm the opening, TL was way more powerful bit 2 hours in and sauvage came through but tuscan leather was still in beast mode which was the case by 2am at which time I went to sleep.
It's now 8am and the sauvage has completely left my skin, TL is still there, as a skin scent but nice enough not to apply any fragrances for the next few hours.
I say sauvage edp is a beast but Tuscan leather is on another level completely, and smells gorgeous.
I used to sell cocaine, as well as cook it into crack. Whatever notes used to create the Leather accord smells like Diethyl...& thats what makes it smell like Cocaine. Dyethyl is used to process Cocaine. So the finished product smells like Ether. Sometimes my olfactory interprets the Leather accord as being Leather, & sometimes as Dyethyl. Which is why i didnt like Tuscan Leather at first sniff. However, after 2 years i now like Tuscan Leather....& i have gotten plenty of compliments on it.

@@zacharyball999 I used to cook crack and sell meth while I was in university. It's not like anyone is gonna get in trouble for talking about it on the internet. And the drug trade is not some shady underground black market full of secrets. Know the law, know your rights and it's no worry to speak freely about it here and in real life. You've lived a very sheltered life or in a small town if your first reaction is to be in disbelief. You'd be surprised at the demographics and % of drug users in cities and therefore a high % of dealers serving them. It's not outside probability that one may comment.

I love this scent. REally, it was love at first sniff, although (being honest) it DID really remind me of cocaine. There's more to it than that, but the accord of all the notes in it is certainly reminiscent of my younger, rock'n'roll days lol. Phenomenal, delicate, smooth, rich leather scent. Can't say I've smelled a better leather scent.
Definitely one of my Favs.... I'm on my 6th bottle 100ml..... other then TF my other go to colognes are in the Creed family

It's a very innovative,unique scent but it doesn't work for me. I sampled it last year and i received a lot of negative feedback because it has strong projection. Comments like ' dirty old stuff' and 'fruit tobacco' or 'ashtray smell' Carolina Herrera CH Men has also that leather/saffron vibe in combination with sugarcane and that one smells amazing and is one of my most compliment fragrances. Tom Ford is absolutely a gamechanger in the fragrance world but some of his private blends are not really wearable for me.
I'm a fan of leather in general, but I'm especially fond of Tuscan Leather. Great for nights out and very unisex, even if it isn't as complex as what I usually like.

The opening does smell like an old ashtray. But when it dries down, that seems to disappear. And yes, I know what ashtrays smell like.

Hi Steven! The curiosity was killing me so I decided to order a bottle of the La Yuqawam by Rasasi. I sprayed it last night, luckily just one spray, and I did not know if I loved it or hated it at first lol. Very powerful stuff!! I sprayed one spray on my forearm and tonight, 24 hrs later, after going to work, the gym, and showering twice I can still smell it on my skin. It seemed to get a lot smoother and more wearable after it dried down a bit and I really started to enjoy it. I could definitely pick up the raspberry note. Back in the day, way back lol, I did happen to come across some cocaine a few times and I definitely did notice a similar smell. Overall though I am very pleased with it. Just have to be very careful on the trigger and pick and choose when might be a good time to break it out.

Disagree with docked marks due to no compliments. This is a f*** you scent you wear to meetings, business deals, anything you want to subconsciously assert your dominance lol! But yeah it's a 10/10 frag though.

Love this fragrance. Great review, very informative... Unfortunately I couldn't find a 50ml bottle in my budget range so I bought Ombre Leather18 as somewhat of a substitute.. Wondering where your review on that one is? Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

At Sephora today I tested and tried both TV and TL on skin side by side . Somehow didn’t like initial 2 hrs smell of TV , may b bcos it was just pure tobacco and den with time vanilla started becoming stronger and my likeliness of smell improved . Now after 12 hrs it’s sweet with faint Tobacco at back ..
in contrast TL smelled same through out , projection is more dan TV , smell to me is better atleast in 1st 3 hrs in comparison to TV , but after 12 hours , TV smell is stronger dan TL , so may b tv has more longevity...
TV smell changes with time becomes better for me , may b I don’t relish tobacco. But with time it smelled better dan TL , say after 4 to 5 hours for me ..
TL is linear and smelled same through out .
So now in delima , which one to chose ?? Advise

That sounds great! I find it to be a mix between Amouage Epic Man, Amouage Fate Man, and a musky base with a slightly indolic jasmine. SOTD: Montale's Red Aoud. Thanks again!

I got the new one from airport.. but it's suck now : ( .. I got 12+hours on my skin on the old one, on the other hand the new one only last 5 hours, and it's not strong and thick as the old one. I guess it is reformulated or there's something wrong on my new TL
Does this smell anything like John varvatos dark rebel,,,, I absolutely love that fragrence, but as with all John varvatos fragrences, the longevity and projection are terrible....??

Tuscan Leather has incredible performance and it is the more intriguing scent of the two in my opinion. However, Tobacco Vanille has a smell that I prefer for personal reasons, and I think it will get more compliments because it's not as polarizing. Thanks for watching!

Hmmm...that's tough. I would probably get the 50 to start off with
Go for the 100ml. If you get the 50ml you'll be stingy with it and/or run out of it fast. Then if you go back for a second bottle you'll have to pay twice the price rather than the extra $60 or whatever it is. Just go with the 100ml.
Defintely has a vibe of yayo. ive smelled it a plenty.

Maybe someone can send you a sample, La Yuqawam is also pretty affordable. A shootout with the others would be fine, but both are those have pretty notable standout differences, never really touted as clones, but similar, I'd say LY is the only TL clone.

I know a lot of people may get at me for this.. But I really hate this frag. I bought a decant two yrs ago.. Gave it a try and hated it.. Came back to it after my nose matured upon smelling other frags.. And I still hate it.. Its just extremely nauseating "/. Leather bomb is an understatement for this frag lol

Hmmm... that's a great question. Some oud fragrances that I have been enjoying lately are Shams Oud by Memo, Oud Ispahan by Dior, and Oud Wood by Tom Ford. For incense, my choices are Interlude Man by Amouage, London by Tom Ford, and Jubilation XXV by Amouage (opoponax). Thanks again!

This goes to show how subjective scent is!! Almost every reviewer on youtube rates this fragrance so high, it's always a 9 or 10/10 and in almost everyones top lists. However to me this is very average. It's a very simple straight forward leather scent that has heavy undertones of ashtray...I was even asked if I was a smoker while wearing this, when I replied no the person said I smelled like I had just smoked a pack of cigarettes, wow!
To me this fragrance is two things, raspberry and a medicinal chemical smell which is exactly where the brick of cocaine comes in right on the top and all the way through at least to me i get a numbing medicinal chloride coke smell and its just not sexy i respect the art of the private line but this one wont be in my collection.
Oud wood Intense smells like leathery cocaine.
I can't imagine cocaine smelling like this. Oh well, I'm getting it anyways

I get a marijuana smell from this fragrance which is a turn off I'm glad I didn't buy a full bottle
