Thank you for the instruction. But I am shocked by the quality of the mic. When you put the mic into the case at 2:15 the quality of your camera is 1000% better then the DJI mic. Don’t know what to say. Or do I need to make some adjustments?
any microphone used with bluetooth is awful quality. I tried it with my GoPro and everything sounded rubbish. hence why the mics connecting via direct connection to the osmo cameras is such a gamechanger. Because you get superior mic quality with little faffing around.
also, it sounds better closer to your mouth, not how he was holding it away. But ya, Using the receiver as opposed to bluetooth is way better. And the mic is way better at blocking ambient noise than the iphone.

I think it’s because your mic is still on and connected. If you save your video to your phone and go to your phone videos you can then hear the audio 👍

Hi Bro! Good effort. DJI Mic 2, I am facing auto disconnection with iphone. The mic will work properly for the first time after connecting. If you stop video recording and start re-recording, the mic will be disconnected. Even if the video recording is turned off and on for a while, the same problem occurs. The DJI mic is switching to the iPhone mic. Is there any solution for this?
Are you using lightening for USB-C? The lightening is kinda “flaky” try to clean the connector and the port on your phone. I have the similar issue. Just got this DJI MIC 2. So if I wanted to use the receiver, it can't because every iPhone case I have is too thick for their USB-c plug to reach into the iPhone USB-C. You have that issue?
What if you needed multiple mics? I assume you can't have multiple micrphones connected via bluetooth at one time, so for 2 people you'd need to plug the receiver into your phone, but I actually need 3 mics, so I'm assuming this option wouldn't work for me with shooting on an iphone?
I got this mic as part of the creator combo on the Pocket3, I allllllmost didn't get it and just bought the camera by itself. But I'm so glad I did! This mic has become my new favorite thing. I've paired it with my pocket 3, DJI action 4, iphone 12 and 2020 macbook air. It works with ALL of them! (3rd party camera app on the iPhone) Although the audio is much higher quality when paired with DJI products. On the macbook it's.... Ok. Seems to pick up a lot of background noise. But hey, it works! If you make tutorial content and don't want to travel with a big ass studio mic, you can use this with your laptop in a pinch.
How absolutely bizarre that it doesn't work in the Apple camera app......thats one of the maddest things i've seen for a while. Apple clearly don't want it to work for commercial reasons. Do Rode mics work in the app?
Which microphone you used for this video? I am finding that mic’s quality better than DJI 2. When you are switching between dji and other mic, your other microphone sounds so much better, not sure if you using any software for sound quality or it’s just mic. Looking forward for the reply

For those asking why the sound wasn’t good when using the mic 2 with Bluetooth, is because the mic was far way ( more than usual) from his mouth. If he brought it closer it would sound more full and rich.

You need to change the Audio Source in Black Magic back to iPhone microphone, then you can hear the recording in both Black Magic app as well as the iPhone video playback, hope it helps
Alternatively, you can switch off your DJI MIC2 temporarily to listen to audio. The advantage here is once you switch on your DJI MIC again, the black Magic app will automatically switch the audio source to DJI MIC and you are ready to record again with your DJI MIC
Thanks. Great mic. Unfortunately, I have found that you can't review the sound on a take you just recorded until you power off the mic or release the bluetooth connection. Makes it very tough to work quickly and interrupts workflow. Has anyone else found this to be an issue?

Why would you use choose to use an unreliable Bluetooth connection if you have a receiver that had a lightening or c connection for your phone? Yeah, I agree, I hope they can improve the quality somehow. Because the Bluetooth mode sounds great on the DJI Pocket 3 and DJI Action 4. I went back to using the Receiver for my phone, for the best sound quality.
It only works in pro video mode, you join the mic via bluetooth to s24 ultra as shown, then select BT microphone in the pro video. I have s24 ultra works great with it and also in voice notes app too

The mic 2 and the Osmo Pocket 3 combo absolutely blows this system out the water. Apple clearly don't want it on their devices....for what reason we don't know. but go with DJI....they've cornered the market with this.....Mic sees the pocket 3 immediately on switch on. none of this parlarva.
Honestly these microphones suck the audio quality sucks you turn off this setting it sucks to do a firmware update it sucks. You have to manually do it like back in the day nothing ever syncs easily... It's just a mess.. I'm exhausted with these..

Question. If you change the transmitter gain in normal mode then switch to bluetooth mode. Does the adjusted gain stay in bluetooth ?

Can dji mic 2 recorded files transfer using bluetooth or dji mimo?
Not sure. I just use USC-C to transfer, SUPER FAST.

You need to change the Audio Source in Black Magic back to iPhone microphone, then you can hear the recording in both Black Magic app as well as the iPhone video playback, hope it helps

I think you have to disconnect the Bluetooth mic before you can listen to the playback.
