I agree about the second point. But as for needing a threat meter, soda specifies that he means you need one for hardcore but not for softcore since there are boss mechanics that play around needing threat which you cant fuck up even once (especially in raids) or else people die and have to start over.
@me56ize yes that's the problem he didn't give Tyler the layman explanation of "don't attack until the pet gets banished" he told him to take aggro after the pet gets banished which if Tyler doesn't even understand threat that means nothing to him because he has no clue how threat works to prevent pulling off of the pet
I think everyone else failed Tyler here. That explanation made sense to me but Sealion should have gone one step further and offered up when to expect the slumber and the dangers of even auto’ing. Granted he did more than auto but it would have drove the point home. Pulling the boss on accident was the real mistake that killed them.
Bro, I don't play wow and I understood the explanation perfectly. Tonka just looking for someone to blame for literally no reason. They were just under leveled for this boss. That's literally it. If the boss was yellow, they would've done it 100%
@@davidgeorgiev5751 True I do think that was the biggest thing. When you play hardcore long enough you start to feel invincible so you take more risks because it's more entertaining for yourself and, in this case, the viewers.
I feel like Soda just genuinely dislikes Tyler and it shows. In total 3 people have died with Tyler on dungeons. First time he was livid and clearly felt bad. Second time wasn’t even really his direct fault and people forget he’s still new. Compare this to almost every other streamer that’s currently doing hardcore wow. They’ve had multiple wipes in dungeons where it’s been their fault or not but the fault has not been directed at them or even made as big of a deal out of it as they have with Tyler.
IF this dude is gonna keep tanking then someone please for the love of god teach T1 about threat mechanics. this is the 2nd time ive heard "he doesnt understand." someone take the time and go through it with the man.
the guy pulled when no one was ready, tyler would had just freaked out and was like o-shit, i gotta pull threat away from the guy that pulled automatically, which is the case 90% of the time. Sealion caused that
First timer fighting an orange lvl boss for the first time not knowing the mechanics just seems like a bad idea, deserved. Can hunter pets in classic taunt?
i think they could have pulled it off if tyler had followed their instructions, but i dont think it was his fault ultimately. they should not have tried that pull
At this point I think Soda has a bit of a hate boner for Tyler, maybe for getting so far without dying. Then again, this whole experience reveals how sky high expectation of people are for playing wow, even if they know you are new.. and how punishing the game is even for combination of new and experienced people
If you think Soda has a hate boner for Tyler you’re actually dumb. He’s literally so easy on Tyler and lets Tyler play how he wants to play. Everyone else he’d probably sit there screaming at them for an hour until they download a threat meter after this. Watch Erobb if you want to see someone Soda actually has a hate boner for
I think it's rightly because Tyler1 has technically lived far longer than he ever should have, given he was a normal person without an audience and essentially has never actually "failed" yet outside of layering incorrectly.
I don't think its a special thing for tyler. soda shitting on everyone is his brand before Twitch even existed... if anything hes a lot more grounded recently.
Nothing wrong with taking on challenges. What is wrong is for him to keep going into groups and refusing to learn his class what it can do and simple mechanics that have been figured out for 20 years. Let alone his ego about addons and taking help from people. Dudes attitude sucks more as this grind goes on
DJ spent all his mana in the first 5 seconds because the pet was so low level, he was getting hit insanely hard. He was also forced to heal 3-4 people because nobody could maintain agro - He would have saved so much mana if he didn't have to swap between 3-4 people and could focus all his heals into one person. And yes he was doing way too many instant-cast heals and flash heals which is not mana efficient compared to Greater Heal. Tonka NEEDS to accept the fact that addons like threat metre is a must. Tonka NEEDS to learn more about threat & agro if he wants to play a warrior. You are not a 'chad' for not using addons like this in hardcore. You are a fool and a griefer. Also addons like plater would be fantastic for him, as the nameplates will change colour when someone is about to rip agro off you - Making you barely need to look at your threat metre(But for bosses like this, you will still need the threat meter). Finally, Sealion shouldn't have told tonka this was a DPS race. As soon as Tyler heard 'DPS race', everything that was said regarding 'waiting for pet to get agro' went out the window. Sealion was the only person with experience in this dungeon and he knows this boss is cooked. They should have done what they did in Uldamon and call the dungeon early, and return the following day/s when everyone had leveled up a little bit more. Also the fact he accidentally pulled made getting and managing agro THAT much harder. Geranimo just didn't pump enough damage and could have done a better job at managing his pet, but shouldn't get too much blame here. Forsen was an innocent soul who was taken too soon. Tough learning lessons for all.

The overpower and sunder didn't help, but having under lvld pets was even worse for this strat. He understood it as a dps race when, in reality, it would be a dps race after the first sleep for their strat, and he either missed it or wasn't explained clear enough for him.
This would be easy if you let the pet have aggro so it would be banished. T1 had to just auto until that happens. Once the pet get banished, T1 taunts. And repeat until 30% hp for a CD pop and nuke.

everybody out here saying T1 should be able to play the game perfectly and know every mechanic and way to play the game on hes like third week of playing while also complaining that you can actually see what's going on in he's game and there's not an addon covering every part of the screen
He's playing HC, and tanking dungeons. He needs to commit a bit of extra time to learning mechanics, and a threat plate addon doesn't cover even 1% of your screen, its just an extra number above the health bar of the mob your fighting. On top of that, warriors have a couple insane QoL macros like a defensive stance + sword and shield macro that takes a minute to put together that can literally save your ass. I'm not blaming Tyler for this, I think it was largely an entire group effort, they should've just skipped the boss, or explained it way more.

As long as the hunters have an addon to track the sleep. They should have had Tyler tank the boss and had their pets taunt right before the boss casts said sleep. Its way easier and more friendly to the new tank to do it that way.
pets dont have a real taunt in classic its basically just a threat skill that gives them extra threat as if they did damage and only is really useful if the hunter keeps taming pets to learn new ranks of growl and it can miss considering the level difference it likely missed quite a lot and when toggled on like the hunters had it the pet uses it on cd notice none of the pets regained agro
He can be taunted, but he needs two tanks because he always sleeps the person with highest threat and goes to next in line.. a lot of times people will evasion tank it if they have no secondary tank class or a dps warrior will use mocking blow etc.

But as for needing a threat meter, soda specifies that he means you need one for hardcore but not for softcore since there are boss mechanics that play around needing threat which you cant fuck up even once (especially in raids) or else people die and have to start over.
Wdym? They said wait for the pet to get cc'd 😂😂
he literally told tyler NOT to take aggro until the pet gets banished.
Playing tank without a threat meter is just dumb, especially on HC
I didnt watch yet did they kill another innocent healer because they still dont have a tank
“Dont get aggro off the pet until it’s slept”
Overpowers into a sunder
They were probably screwed on the second sleep anyway tho
IF this dude is gonna keep tanking then someone please for the love of god teach T1 about threat mechanics. this is the 2nd time ive heard "he doesnt understand." someone take the time and go through it with the man.
Isnt Sealion the stream sniper from Asmons FFXIV days joining all his raids?
Is it the same guy? Was he even a streamer?
Only stream sniper people know are Greek, anyone else is a niche nerd one.
@@bombkita ComedyRussel most famous streamsniper
Yeah that's him
@@bombkita the funny thing is the mother of Tyler‘s child was a stream sniper and won the lottery lol
the boss really want tyler to live lol
the guy pulled when no one was ready, tyler would had just freaked out and was like o-shit, i gotta pull threat away from the guy that pulled automatically, which is the case 90% of the time. Sealion caused that
i love how they just jump around and do nothing
Look at the threat meter
Why is he so invested in making tyler the villain
Threat meter would prob help him understand threat
First timer fighting an orange lvl boss for the first time not knowing the mechanics just seems like a bad idea, deserved. Can hunter pets in classic taunt?
Lol yea, that's what growl is when they say it
no, growl isn't a taunt, it's just a lot of +threat, if the pet is far behind on threat it won't guarantee aggro
Lots of ppl make this game harder then it is
i think they could have pulled it off if tyler had followed their instructions, but i dont think it was his fault ultimately. they should not have tried that pull
At this point I think Soda has a bit of a hate boner for Tyler, maybe for getting so far without dying.
Then again, this whole experience reveals how sky high expectation of people are for playing wow, even if they know you are new.. and how punishing the game is even for combination of new and experienced people
"Tyler1 will die soon for sure" - soda about 3 days ago
If you think Soda has a hate boner for Tyler you’re actually dumb. He’s literally so easy on Tyler and lets Tyler play how he wants to play. Everyone else he’d probably sit there screaming at them for an hour until they download a threat meter after this. Watch Erobb if you want to see someone Soda actually has a hate boner for
I think it's rightly because Tyler1 has technically lived far longer than he ever should have, given he was a normal person without an audience and essentially has never actually "failed" yet outside of layering incorrectly.
Such a fanboy, literally hes just got 2 people killed lol
I don't think its a special thing for tyler. soda shitting on everyone is his brand before Twitch even existed... if anything hes a lot more grounded recently.
The person to blame is whoever decided to even try that boss with such a low level group - and that person isn't T1.
I ain't reading all that
good job repeating everything soda said in text form
t1 doesn't NEED to accept anything. dude can play how he likes lmao. he's also said before he just wants to dps and not tank. it's brainlets that keep saying "warrior has to tank!1!" that are the problem.
@@zzdatoneguyzz2392 He’s talked about wanting to tank in raids on stream before. Sure he doesn’t NEED to learn tank mechanics, but 40 people will die if he doesn’t.
@@nickwalsh4524 I see. I haven't watched all of the streams, much too long, but I've seen a bit of it and he seemed only really interested in dps and not wanting to be forced into tanking. if he wants to do it I agree he should learn it, but yea, it still isn't required. if they're going to raid with him as tank then it's up to them to determine if they trust him. if they die it's not entirely his fault tbh.
What about mocking blow and mass taunt
healer threat when everyone is fighting an orange mob is insanely high because it is full threat while everyone else has reduced threat after feint you gain the agro back while having agro while being in melee now ppl dont understand healer threat
"Boring as fuck"
-Sealion
No truer words have been said referring to Classic.
damn now i imagine my tank in dungeon not having threat meter ...
Guys.. never do dungeons with hunters... so simple
tyler is doing side quests at this point, I hope to see tyler pool service company again
T1 must be to busy to read a 10min guide oon how to tank
Don't even need to read I'm sure there's plenty of videos for beginner tanks
Never dungeon with hunters
This is just all content for these people
Bad group comp is to blame here. Pet tanking a boss like this is rolling the dice, should've had a 2nd warrior or druid.
How the fk do you not have a threat meter as a healer? Smh
How did Forsen not have vanish up??
CRAZY how everybody ignores the fact that Deep Slumber ( the bannish ) can be interrupted , soda , xaryu , nobody mentions it ? classic brain completely fried . Yes it is relatively fast cast , but rogue/warrior hold GCD , just save rage/energy:gcd for kicking this and there's 0 risk , why people act like this is " a real mechanic boss " no it's not you can kick the only mechanic he does , check wowhead spell details if u don't believe me , it is absolutely not immuned to interrupt. why nobody mentions it ?
The healer is terrible
The overpower and sunder didn't help, but having under lvld pets was even worse for this strat. He understood it as a dps race when, in reality, it would be a dps race after the first sleep for their strat, and he either missed it or wasn't explained clear enough for him.
This would be easy if you let the pet have aggro so it would be banished. T1 had to just auto until that happens. Once the pet get banished, T1 taunts. And repeat until 30% hp for a CD pop and nuke.
pet was too low level tho.
I hope Tyler makes it to 60!
Why is this guy commenting on deaths and shit when he has no clue how interface or classes work? Getting backseated by chat 100% of the time.
pro tip for healers dont join groups when others can drop agro and also dont join groups that have tank and dps lower level than boss
last one is big one people need to stop doing runs with low level dps/tanks why bring them when they are getting carried on bosses they should have quit after the last twin dragons died
Honestly, it was a bad taunt call, if that call didnt go out, tyler would of then tanked and it would of been fine. Getting big Hater vibes from Soda -= i think Rav and now tyler are exposing wow as the easy game it is and wow hardcore players are slowly getting bitter about it
Soda 100% has a hate boner for Tyler lol
@@itcheebeardAgreed
@@itcheebeard that's their whole dynamic. Tyler1 perma tells soda he'll beat him up and hes trash. its just the bit
Yeah bad taunt call, how do you explain the Overpower and Sunder where the move description literally tells you "Generates a high amount of threat"? T1 is the only one ive watched this OF run but nah hes shit lol still cinema though
It is very easy, that's why 2/5 died and the other 3 ran out with the boss at half hp
everybody out here saying T1 should be able to play the game perfectly and know every mechanic and way to play the game on hes like third week of playing while also complaining that you can actually see what's going on in he's game and there's not an addon covering every part of the screen
I understand certain addons but i also think ppl rely on them too much
@@tehfuqizg0inon588 explain how to not rely on a threat meter please?
He's playing HC, and tanking dungeons. He needs to commit a bit of extra time to learning mechanics, and a threat plate addon doesn't cover even 1% of your screen, its just an extra number above the health bar of the mob your fighting. On top of that, warriors have a couple insane QoL macros like a defensive stance + sword and shield macro that takes a minute to put together that can literally save your ass. I'm not blaming Tyler for this, I think it was largely an entire group effort, they should've just skipped the boss, or explained it way more.
@@deathsacomin he got turned off of add-ons because the stupid list he was told to download before he even played the game you look at most of the wow streamers playing and they've got so much shit on their screen other wow streamers don't even know wtf is going on.
You didn't watch the video, you didn't even read the comments. You're performatively sucking Tyler off for likes, piss off.
This chat arguing with Soda about a game that he made a multi million dollar career out of playing borderline professionally is staggering.
"He'll still hit it and do more threat than a healer" LMFAO
what a clown comment
How is that a clown comment?
I think the reason priest died is because of fade, he had fade and the boss on him at the same time. He had it rank 1 prob.
Bro he said if the tank is CCed run/kite lol. this is F-in hardcore for gods sake. Yeah if T-1 stood in the corner with his D-in his hand they win 100% T-1s fault cuz he just had to not pull threat and for Fs sake kite at least the boss will have to walk 20 feet. Also can’t you pet taunt to save the healer? Or rouge pull threat and sprint kite away. No.1 don’t attack tell the pet gets CCed, then sound off and the boss should almost be dead by the second and you can down him sweating.
Bla bla bla bla this sodapoppin guy wanted to be right so bad. Shit happens. Cringe streamer
Isn’t the boss untauntable???
He can be taunted, but he needs two tanks because he always sleeps the person with highest threat and goes to next in line.. a lot of times people will evasion tank it if they have no secondary tank class or a dps warrior will use mocking blow etc.
@ thanks,good to know
@@glucosepappy9663 He doesn't need 2 tanks, he needs mechanical knowledge and teamwork to beat. I rogue tanked him with evasion in HC at level 53 when my pally tank got slept. When the evasion wore off, I sprinted into the previous room and kited him until the pally picked him back up. I think I ended up getting banished as well. It was poorly explained, and everyone was underleveled in this group.
Just bring a shaman and ground totem the slumber and tank intercepts and taunts, very easy fight lol
THIS WAS NOT TYLERS FAULT!!
Not entirely his fault, but his whole team's ego was getting too big and this is the result. Hopefully this gives him a reality check and he starts putting in effort to learn vital mecahnics like threat/agro/CCs/etc.
@ agreeed. I’m proud of Tyler for getting to 50 + on his second toon insane.
@@Zerbkush dudes had some major luck in getting to 50 on his second toon, he had a near death that was saved by him resisting 3 shadow bolts in a row lmao
definitely mainly tylers fault he was told multiple times not to take aggro at the start until the pet gets banished. he also need to drop the ego and respect the game. yeah the game isnt insanely hard but you also cannot just play without giving a shit past a certain point.
Just like soda said he was explained the mechanics like he knew the game or has played it for years just not that boss
Just saying banished or different mechanics does not resonate with new players he should have been explained what banish means, and that he will lose threat.
@@sobliss5200 These aren't complex mechanics. Stop treating T1 like he's a 4 year old.
@@Zakjuh he just didn’t know what he didn’t know. How hard is it to understand what people are saying I get it. He’s trying something new. He did not know what was and he did not know that it was a unique form of cc that would take threat off of him he just didn’t know
@@Zakjuh treating Tyler1 as a four-year-old is a disgusting statement. No one is understanding playing World of Warcraft hard-core, which was not even the way. the extent at which taylors brain dead mouth breathing fan base will defend him is amazing lol
If youve been watching T1 has only gotten so far by the grace of others and luck. Hes almost died multiple times and has gotten carried in heals and also letting group members die. The worst part is he gets frustrated and starts yelling instead of communicating..i guess hes a true warrior
sodapoppin is so jealous of tyler
Sealion is so insecure...
