  • When choosing a cover for a Can-Am Spyder RT Limited, we have a number of choices. There are different styles, and various manufacturers and varying quality levels.
I used minimalism to help me choose a cover for my Spyder, as explained in this video.
This channel chronicles my adventures using a 2023 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited as my only conveyance. We’ll go on a great adventures as well as mundane errands. We’ll also discuss accessories and gear for the Can-Am Spyder.
I usually wear a Tourmaster Transition 4 jacket, a Scorpion EXO-AT950 helmet, and either Klim Baja gloves or Joe Rocket Windchill gloves. I use a GoPro Hero 10 camera and a Purple Panda mic, and I edit video with Final Cut Pro on an iPad Pro.

Hi Chris, I have two covers the ultra guard half cover which I bought to start off with as I wanted to cover it whilst it was being towed on stinger trailer behind my motor home as we use it for transport when we go camping! This worked okay if the wind wasn’t too strong, after adding more straps & elastic. Kept it dry & dust free when parked up, but finally decided to get a proper trailer proven full cover which is only made by BRP ! Another reason is that I have BRP passenger armrests & all the aftermarket covers don’t make them to fit these. Regards Stephen Alberta Canada.

I bought the BRP full cover when I got my Spyder and I always wait for it to cool down before covering it. For trips, I bought the half cover because it takes less space in the frunk. Like you, I don't want mischief done to my Spyder and I like keeping it as clean as possible. Cheers Chris.

I purchased the same cover and it fits my 2020 RT LIMITED perfectly. I highly recommend it too. We enjoy watching your videos, Chris. Keep them coming.

Pull it all the way down and back and go back to the front and put it over the a wheel.Wells it takes less than five minutes I have a plastic clip and it attaches to the floorboard on each side. The one I got Through. Can-am was like $200. What I like about the cover keeps the tree sap off when it's outside and keeps prying eyes off of it and the Sun doesn't sit there and bake the color or the plastic. And the seat is dry and cool that is my best investment.

Handy especially if you don't have a garage but it would have to be weatherproof. 🌧

    Great video Chris.
Everyone already commented on the cover so I am going to comment on the other question.
If you want to speed up the movie you can most likely in your editing software. However I dont know yours.
What is easier is to set your camera in time-lapse mode when filming. Usually the software then just takes care of it.
    Cheers

This is probably all you'll ever need since you have a garage. In the summer, I keep a t-shirt in the frunk to put on the windshield to cut down on the UV damage to the plastic when it's parked.

01:47 that scene reminds me of a trick I played on my ex-wife one time. We were on the highway and she was asleep in the passenger seat beside me. I yelled to wake her up, and the first thing she saw was a semi that looked like it was heading straight for us in our lane! She got me back and did the same to me at some point. Anyway, thanks for the video. Ride blessed.

I got a cover when I bought the Spyder, and honestly haven't even used it. I need to go look at just what I have!

One thing to think about is when traveling and packing small. The full cover takes a lot of room. I use an Ultra Guard half cover and it packs in a small trunk rack. Packing a wet cover and trying to put it in a saddlebag or frunk makes everything else wet so I pack in a trunk rack bag separate from everything else.

I took mine to work within the same week that I had purchased it. Found out that everybody was jumping on it and sitting on it and pushing buttons on it. They asked me not to bring it back till i covered it which I did Full cover. If they new what it Cost Me . I was not happy.

Nice cover, my cover is a half cove ultra guard, maybe the full cover is better. The bag is nothing more than a stuff bag so no need to be neat. Bag not super quality on any ultra guard but super glue is a nice repair. I think the Ultra Guard will work, mine has for a long time. Anything more heavy duty is a real pain.

I hadn’t thought about super glue for the bag. I might give it a try.

I don't know if you are aware of it. A lot of companies don't have the right Size. the one that sells seal skin.
They didn't have it. I gave them the size for it. CAN-AM has one too.

Use a plastic bag. They only cost 10 cents. Or a glad bag.

A 1 gallon freezer bag may do it. (US measure). Not sure if it's big enough but easily replaced.

I wouldn’t recommend putting that cover over that hot exhaust until it cooled off.

I wouldn’t do it , not mention the room it will take + you are insured
