Oohhh Nathan could do an off shoot of the basement for teens!! His insight and the cadence of his voice could be transformative for the younger folks! And I’m 43 and I wanna hear more of that young man’s thought process. You can hear how he’s been immersed in biblical teaching within a strong, supportive, foundational household. I LOVE IT!
In my double life. I live in Arkansas and was engaged to a woman in Alabama for 7 months while I am still married from my wife of 17 years. When God gave me my wife he truly gave me an angel. Cuz she stayed with me in my addiction and cheating. There is no other woman out there to stay with a person like I was and did what i did to her. There is a reason she stayed with me. Cuz I have a feeling in my heart that the holy spirit is telling me that God my wife and I is to help other couples to. Thank you Jesus for everything you have done for me. Thank you for this message Tim. Oh yeah. I'm 10 months clean. And today I am 2 days cigarettes free. Yes I'm tired of loving the stuff that doesn't love me back. Thank you Jesus.
I will tell you. I have put all of my trust in God. Cuz he did change my heart and restored my marriage
I even told many women that the wife and I was hit by a drunk driver and she died in my arms. That I am selling my house and I will take care of them just to have sex. When I was engaged to the woman in Alabama her whole family thought my wife was dead. I hurt my wife severely. Gave her ptsd. I shot up so much meth. Holy spirit convicts me so much. I know my God is a way maker. Miracle worker. I love you Jesus. Thank you.

Long read alert!
Lemme tell y'all, I started praying right when I found out (from one of your sermons - Tim Ross and this episode) that God will forgive my sins but I will still suffer their consequences. I used to be promiscuous ; caused me to lose a pregnancy at 8months (2017) and develop fertility issues to date... I wrote to God day in day out over the years, begging , wailing, for HIM to restore my fertility and let me have a baby . PLEASE NOTE: I'm not married yet. Didn't even have a stable boyfriend while I was writing these prayers! LoL
AFTER I GAVE my life to Jesus sincerely, I've been through the worst withdrawal denying the flesh - true story, at some point I searched on YT if Christians are allowed to go clubbing but abstain from alcohol ( hillarious , right?!) If I had found just 1 person out of 100 saying yes we can, I'd have been back in the scene. PRAISE God the Holy Spirit led me to hear from true Christians who said NO in the most loving ways ...
SO FAR, I stopped clubbing , drinking, dropped all my 'boyfriends' and enablers ,now walking the celibacy journey - A LUTA CONTINUA but it's easier with God in it. I no longer concentrate my prayers on marriage and restoration of my fertility because HE know my heart's desires but rather I pray for strength and the will to continuously seek HIM through HIS word. I bought the prettiest pink Bible and I have read more than 10books! .. I try to read a book a week .. I'm so proud of myself and I Know my FATHER is too! 😀

My father was born and raised in Iran and brought up in Islam. He walked away from the religion when he was in his 20’s and went on to become a Christian when I was little and has been a pastor and has been bringing the word of God to his people since ❤

It’s crazy because these past couple of podcast have been so in line with how God has been working in my life. I love my current job but know it’s holding me back and also just an environment I needed to get out of. Instead of staying in the comfortable, I officially put my two weeks in and will be beginning a new job within a foster agency. This opportunity was something I never even knew I had the possibility of obtaining and also contained so many passions of mine that I knew the lord confirmed my calling through this opportunity. Thank you Tim for even further confirming this!

This message is SOOOOO ON TIME! My family and I just relocated to NC from Colorado. My husband and I knew we were called to move. What I didn't know was how much of a challenge this was gluing to be for me. I left my church, family, a successful business and environment that have been in for the last 20+ years. On a morning I that was struggling with our move a friend of mine sent me this same passage of scripture. I was crying and depressed because I had to leave everything I knew. Just this morning I told the Lord that I am going to surrender to His plan. I'm going to do whatever it is that He wants me to do for His glory. I'm cooking dinner and you popped up with this message....

What you said about being at a church too long is so true. We were going to a large evangelical church for 6 years and got our faith right and served in ministry but became weary and bitter that we weren’t growing. We departed and literally went to “the church down the street” and are now being discipled and growing exponentially. I wish this was something evangelical churches emphasized- come to get saved, stay to learn how to follow Jesus, and then GO and become a disciple. It’s key. Evangelical churches keep members for too long… encourage them to get deeper elsewhere and be active in their own neighborhood.

I don't know if it just me but the more I listen to his podcasts I keep finding myself thinking I need to hear this. It's been soo helpful so far and I'm so eager to learn more.
1:12:21 My father lost the benefit of the doubt when he cheated on my mum, and he hasn’t grown up yet. He still sleeps out, gaslights us when we call him out on it and goes to the lengths of projecting his anger on us when called out.
It’s been two years of emotional abuse under him, and seeing my father take my mother for an idiot really breaks my heart. Incredibly I gave it all to Jesus, my worries, fears and frustrations, and He has continually showered me with peace.
I know that the Lord avenges His people, and that every man shall reap what they sow. So as a family we continue to pray for him, and keep our boundaries up to avoid getting trampled on.

I didn't realize it till you said it (about leaving) At 65 I have left several times and now I feel like I am being called to leave again. I am not a precher but am being called to have my generation to re-engage till God calls them home. This is really hard because I don't know what I'm doing or why anyone would listen to me. Looking back makes me feel lonely. I need this message but it's very hard.
The Holy Spirit is helping you. You are not alone. Praying that you will settle your heart and mind and trust that He'll make it all plain to you. 🙏

I told my wife I’m not like a fan boy of Tim Ross… ( I didn’t know who he was until the show) But he’s saying things that give me words I didn’t have before. And the same for my wife. It’s not our favorite show like we binge on a streaming service. tim isn’t a new Jesus guru that we’re following. He’s just speaking truth in a way our ears can hear it. We are grateful.

I praise God for your raw, uncut, honest and loving approach to every topic thrown at you. You are helping me flip so many unturned stones on my path. I have so many questions about the repercussions of my actions before Christ and the implications they have had on my children and my soul. Little by little these questions are answered and I feel the Holy Spirit speak louder and louder as something else holding me back snaps loose. Thank you for being obedient.
