i currently have it and it's a great dumb reach/daily fragrance and i love it, but it can come off synthetic and generic when comparing it to other blue fragrances like BDC or Y EDP in my opinion

But you’re an idiot of you pick BDC over Dylan Blue. It’s the better deal all round.
I'm living in Brazil, here people generally don't have a taste for fragrances, that means I can rock Sauvage all day and still be unique lol I picked it up over DB and BDC because I really appreciate long lasting fragrances and also, most people that diss on Sauvage is due to it being so popular on more evolved countries but that's not an issue I have to face here in the tropical coutry lol

Oh yeah… I just wore Valentino Uomo Intense New Year’s Eve… holy smokes… definitely bold. The opening is similar to DHI but the dry down is completely original with its leathery goodness. Not quite gourmand, especially on the dry down since the waxy vanilla lacks any sweetness and doesn’t remind me of anything edible unless I’m gnawing on a dress shoe lol. It’s quite unique and super strong, it lasted 12 hours with a massive projection for about 6 and I can still smell it on my scarf. I think I went with about 8 sprays. Cheers, happy new year

Le Male: when she says daddy vibes; I wouldn't say she's saying it's only for daddy's - but more or less all the guys who first rocked it when it came out would be dads (or even granddads) by now 😉 Valentino Uomo Intense: sweet lipsticky gourmand, for a man? Who are we kidding? Yes. It is bold. To say otherwise means your not speaking from the perspective of an average Joe, but rather, "a guy who's in to fragrances". But besides those, I agree with all your points 👍
Something I've always found puzzling, is how people don't explore "classic" fragrances that have been around 30, 50, 80 years... And will only purchase what's available at the department store as what I call "flavor of the month" scents. There really are some incredibly unique "old" fragrances for both men and women, a lot of which could be considered 'unisex', that have been available literally for up to 100 years. Of course, Creed has been in business longer than that, but let's face it... Not everyone has the extra 200 to x amount of dollars to spend on smell-good every couple of months. Here's something funny and interesting... Personally, I look for and buy an ancient Avon cologne called Oland. I discovered it 20 years ago after buying a box lot at an estate sale. The funny part of it is that it smells like absolute wildcat piss when first put on... The interesting part is that after about 10 minutes, it's "settled down" to it's actual, intended fragrance and people will follow me around, telling me "how great I smell"... Of course, everyone's chemistry's is different and nearly every fragrance product will work differently from one person to the next. But it is nice to eventually "find" one that totally suits oneself... And it occurs to somebody that it just might be something that isn't available at a regular department store. Cheers... Happy New Year.
I love Joop Nightflight, Fahrenheit, Cool Water, Chopard Heaven, L'Eau Par Kenzo, Drakkar Dynamic, Joop Rococo. Those are or were fragrances that grabbed my nose's attention, that had something in them that made you want to explore them, wear them. Nowadays I pop into a fragrance store and 90% of fragrances are simply unremarkable. Put any of them next to Chopard Heaven or Insense Ultramarine and I'll always choose those old, but remarkable fragrances.
I personally think the YSL Tuxedo/Rochas Mustache EDP DNA is a bit overhyped. I haven't smelled Grand Soir yet, but I'm wondering how MDCI Chypre Palatin compares to it. It's my next big bottle purchase.
Nice vid Omar, I’m not sure about Tuxedo but Moustache is indeed amazing. I’m actually looking for a good coffee fragrance. Do you have some suggestions other than Red extreme? You stay safe too
I have Halloween Man X too and think it’s great. Another one I have is Replica Coffee Break by Maison Margiela. Best part of the Replica line is you can just go to Sephora and get a 10ml bottle for $30.

But go more in depth in one video showcasing gourmands or aquatics from all the major houses and highlight the differences between them? I am struggling to find such note to note comparison videos. Like for example I love 212 - where can I find those green park notes?
Man, I really think Wanted by Night is overrated. A lot of fragrance reviewers hype this fragrance so much. To me it's too harsh on my nose with that big cinnamon punch. Most Wanted is better in my opinion
You said that the Stronger With You range was safe and mass appealing. Which one would you choose to wear? I've heard that Intensely and Absolutely are fantastic but haven't had a chance to smell them in person
For me, I prefer the Intensely to the original (due to better performance and being sweeter). Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to find Absolutely anywhere as I don’t think it’s available in the US.
I've smelled all of the SWY range (besides SWY only- the newest flanker). For me intensely had the strongest projection and longevity ever so slightly over absolutely. However absolutely was my favourite scent of the 3. It has an added booze note to it which I feel makes it more well rounded and even more mass appealing. The original SWY has strong projection and longetivity as is the DNA of the line, but is weaker than intensely and absolutely. However the original had the strongest vanilla note by my experience. It comes down to personal preference but I would recommend Absolutely since that is my favourite.
There's a strange trend, don't know if only among influencers, but the one where we are being told that woody, heavily spicy fragrances are sexy and most alluring. From my experience I can say that nothing works better in grabbing women's attention than blue fragrances. Well, perhaps if you mingle with the high crowd, where the most bizarre fragrance creations cause wows and oohs, then perhaps you should go for wood, tobacco and other odd (oud hahaha) stuff. Otherwise go for something like L' Eau Par Kenzo, Davidoff Cool Water or Dali Le Roy Soleil, and you will get tons of compliments. And if you want something more sophisticated, go for Fahrenheit or Bleu de Chanel (Allure is way overhyped, smells like 80s cologne).
I like your videos = Pure Inspiration for me, Thank you. Very good list. Seven fragrances, I enjoy in January 2022, are: Tom Ford Tobacco Oud, Paco Rabanne Pure XS, Lalique Encre Noire L´ Extreme, Hugo Boss Bottled Intense EDP, Rochas Moustache EDP, Ted Lapidus Altamir and Hugo Boss The Scent Absolute EDP. Happy New Year !

Completely agree with all your corrections. Jus de Rose or whatever her name is doesn't seem that into the hobby on a grander scale. Her commentary was off on many of the classics.
Hi Omar can you please do a review of Xerjoff Golden Dallah? It's such an underrated perfume and perfectly unisex, both guys and dolls will enjoy this incredible gourmand oriental scent 👌👍
I'm thinking about blind buying either YSL Y EDP or Le Parfum. In your opinion which would you say pulls more compliments? I've heard some people say that the EDP has been reformulated and isn't nearly as strong. Also how do you feel about Prada Luna Rossa Carbon?
I bought Y EDP after testing it in a store once. It’s definitely a solid blind buy. I have recieved several compliments about it since I bought it. It stands out more than Luna Rosa Carbon
Great reaction video and agree with theajority of your comments. I don't always agree with Josephine, but most of what she says in this one is correct too. Can you tell me which is the most sexiest men's cologne in the world I really would like to know what is that something that smells so good that everyone would notice thank you Romero
Armani Code is such an overhyped fragrance. There's nothing unique about it. If I were to choose fragrances that have recently caused me a "wow" reaction, I'd choose Terre d'Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver (or any Terre d'Hermes really) and Spicebomb original (didn't know this one).
We want to know how many bottles u have in ur collection. Because I refuse to listen to someone who is collecting is mainly de cats and speaks about Fragrancenet he’s never smelled

The original SWY has strong projection and longetivity as is the DNA of the line, but is weaker than intensely and absolutely. However the original had the strongest vanilla note by my experience. It comes down to personal preference but I would recommend Absolutely since that is my favourite.
@@nintendostar199 Sounds great. The rum note in Absolutely is definitely what intrigued me. Hopefully I can find it soon
@@nintendostar199 where’d ya snag Absolutely?
Bro, I own Oud Wood and it indeed really suits me (hint: look at my profile picture, I’m indeed a 007 Bond fan!)
Could you recommend a cheaper substitute to Oud Wood? Because I’m not as rich as 007 Bond to wear it daily.. (I also own CDNI)
try alexandria agar, not tried it myself but it has decent reviews!
@@SchoolOfScent will definitely do! Thanks for your quality content man, they help a lot!
Completely agree with all your corrections. Jus de Rose or whatever her name is doesn't seem that into the hobby on a grander scale. Her commentary was off on many of the classics.
I don’t agree that YSL Y EDP is better than the Sauvage EDP. Y is too sweet and dries down into something synthetic.
Love your comments: "So laid back that it barely smells like anything."
Brilliant as usual
Hi Omar can you please do a review of Xerjoff Golden Dallah? It's such an underrated perfume and perfectly unisex, both guys and dolls will enjoy this incredible gourmand oriental scent 👌👍
Need to look in to it 👌
I'm thinking about blind buying either YSL Y EDP or Le Parfum. In your opinion which would you say pulls more compliments? I've heard some people say that the EDP has been reformulated and isn't nearly as strong. Also how do you feel about Prada Luna Rossa Carbon?
YSL Y EDP Will not let u down trust me I blind bought it to and it over satisfied me plus it’s versatile 🔥
I bought Y EDP after testing it in a store once. It’s definitely a solid blind buy. I have recieved several compliments about it since I bought it. It stands out more than Luna Rosa Carbon
Man in Black or Luna Rossa Black Omar? 🤔
Appreciate your response 🙌🏻
MIB if you’re 30+ Luna if you’re under
@@SchoolOfScent Thanks Omar!
Great reaction video and agree with theajority of your comments. I don't always agree with Josephine, but most of what she says in this one is correct too. Only one I disagree with you both on is Luna Rossa Black which I personally find very boring and a bit of a nothing fragrance. I actually like Luna Rossa Ocean much more, a bit more interesting.
Mustache is nice but Tuxedo is a bit more potent
This made me think I should take a look at Bvlgari Man In Black
i have a mustache edp, and it's too good
Dont take tuxedo (expansive), take Moustache. BUT "Turathi Brown" is better for less. Trust me
Hadn’t heard of it, nice
Omar, thoughts on Chanel Egoiste and Chanel Platinum Egoiste?
Platinum is a much better blended fragrance imo, both are mature fragrances 35+
@@SchoolOfScent Thanks for the reply! Seems most of the big frag heads prefer Egoiste as well. As a scent, it's certainly ... interesting.
Can you tell me which is the most sexiest men's cologne in the world I really would like to know what is that something that smells so good that everyone would notice thank you Romero
Have you ever tried Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances? He has some super unique stuff. Definitely sniff worthy.
Only tried smoulder and you’re right, incredible!
Do you guys think they will be available in Africa?... Namibian 🇳🇦/South Africa🇿🇦. great videos Omar..... greetings from Namibia.
damn she didnt have to do dylan blue like that lol its a great fragrance
Too be honest you guys I'm not sure what make of this, Salvatore Ferragamo and Givenchy no where on the line up
Watched a bunch you are the best
Top video as always, Can you recommend me a sexy night fragrance for the summer that is loud project very well. Thank you
Thank you my friend and I think Hawas would work in this case
@@SchoolOfScent Thank you I will give it a try. Do you think spice bomb extreme would work?
@@krysh9279 Spicebomb Extreme is more of a winter fragrance imo
@@sk8boarderrr yes I know, I haven’t try it in the summer at night. 😊
Man I just bought Dylan blue and she said that 😭
Doesn't matter what she says. It's really good use it.
@@stanford2590 oh yeah ik it was just a joke
@@gerardorafaelriosverdun6374 how much long lasting Do you get compliments?
@@NJ-ic5kx i also wear it quite often, and I constantly get compliments. the performance is also good, it lasts about 7 hours on my skin.
Isn’t side effect better than rehab?
Hello omar . Bravo on all videos. Please take a look at loewe agua d calador and loewe 7 natural and comme des garcons collection
1 million still my favorite
I Usually stay away from reviews with ‘sexy’ in title.
Versace EROS EDP or YSL Y EDP ?
Surprisingly she hates Dylan Blue.
Damn. It's a compliment machine for me. Especially women.
Amazing. 👍👍
You don’t like Versace Dylan blue?
Thoughts on 212 VIP mate ?
Dude, what du u powder yer dome with?
Momma's boy for Dylan Blue, lemme just adjust my fragrantica profile real quick
The hate on Dylan Blue by fragrance snobs is unreal 😂 Chill out snobs, fragrances are highly subjective so why all the hate
How about a list for the ladies 🤞👌🌷🌺🌸🌹😃
Hey @schoolofscent can you review « l’insoumis by lalique » ?
The Dylan Blue collective were certainly upset in these comments😂
Blue electrique is so different from la nuit og
We want to know how many bottles u have in ur collection. Because I refuse to listen to someone who is collecting is mainly de cats and speaks about Fragrancenet he’s never smelled
I had over 100 at one point, but I’ve sold/given away a lot, I’m maybe down to 60 now and I will be downsizing the collection even further
@@SchoolOfScent why u downsizing more brother?? I have a shit load so I’m asking because they’re must be a good reason
@@slimeade187 Will make a full video on it soon!
Says not talked about fragerences then lists off the 40 most popular fragerence a on YT
Rochas is not even close to tuxedo. Its tooo sharp and not refined enough for my liking of the DNA. We’re talking no compliments from multiple wears to 5+ compliments from one single wear
With allure homme sport eau extreme.....You don't think of tonka bean when you are at the gym 😂
I don't get any compliments from Dylan Blue
No one decide on behalf of millions of users. Can't ignore sauvage elixir.
I think Rose’s over-pronunciations would make even a Frenchman gag.
Nice video👍
Nice thanks Lance!
Did you notice Josephine gets so carried away by speaking French ! She starts pronouncing English Words also with a French Accent lol !!
Dylan blue..... Meh🙁😕
He looks like a top g
Nothing bad boy about powder smell.
Uhhh have you SEEN her nose? She's got a nose for French, for sure. 🤔
Also, you take what you said about Prada's L'homme back. You take that back RIGHT NOW, sir.
