I'm not really sure who or what I really am, I've had a mental illness since age 13 and from age 18 until 40 years of age I was on antidepressants, alcohol, weed, and hard drugs, and this has altered my perception of reality quite a bit, but I know I like this song and my life is definitely getting better because of my dedication to staying sober. If I could speak to my younger self when he acquired the illness I'd have told him how to hang on, and stay alive, without turning to medication or other substances just to find the will to live. My life is definitely getting better as we speak -- new job starts in February, my fiancee and the kittens are doing fine, and it's time to manage the second half of my life, whether the illness hits me hard or hits me mild, the right way. And for those of you who have to continue to take meds to survive I fully understand why you're doing it. Now that I'm off them I feel all of my emotions and this is both good and bad -- it's good because I can now feel what everyone normally feels but bad whenever the disease hits me hard and makes me feel insane or like doing something very harmful to myself or others. I might always have this underlying condition, it might forever follow me until I'm dead, but at least I'm dealing with it the right way now. Whenever it gets too powerful I don't feel anything when I play music, sadly, but right now I feel it so for that I'm thankful. Maybe over time as my sobriety period increases the symptoms will decrease -- as I said, though, the illness came 5 years prior to my abusing substances and I began abusing them as a reaction to it. Every individual has their own take on hearing this song and this is my take right now.

I'd like to quickly say thank you and good work. We're all gonna make it brah, one step at a time. I've had mental health issues for years and staying sober is the BEST thing i've ever done. I won't go much into detail but it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say it saved my life, my relationships, my confidence. You can make it man, just one day at a time. Never give up. Choose life.
You ilness is part of you are denied long time ago, its you shadow what you putting in cage. Integrate you shadow and be free. You need go deep inside you mental ilness, you fear, there is shadow what you need integrate to be whole again

Why are people complaining about A&B's sound? They've been producing this style for a while now, it's nothing new. Enjoy it for what it is, or just don't listen. Producers change their styles as times change. I personally think this track is beautiful and can't wait for what comes after this album.

TGM Vault Boy I think the argument is whether or not A&B is still trance. Definitely some house-y vibes in their newer work, no doubt there.
I definitely love their older material, think Tri-State. They may not produce the same way they used to, but as long as they're loving what they do, I think that's all that really matters?

I saw Above and Beyond on the beach in Florida - was a really intimate gathering - such a POWERFUL show! They went on at sundown. It literally changed my life and perspective. I was with my husband (it was our anniversary) and it was so awesome! I remember I thought it was raining, but it was actually these sprinkler things to keep everyone cool - it was amazing - probably the most amazing show I've ever been to.
I saw A & B perform in Guatemala City recently. Packed house, great vibes, amazing people and superb duo performing that night.

the way I see it is this, the intro, (first 45-60 seconds) isn't conducive to that older A&B sound that got me addicted, whereas the remainder of the song is just beautiful, gives me goosebumps and makes me feel invincible. I get that people have different tastes in music, what's surprising is that it's the same song?
although I guess we should be grateful for the nice things we DO have, not that which we don't.
