Combat footage filmed like a movie is oddly satisfying.
Now this is a proper video. I dont know if its the camera settings or in editing but the quality of the video is superb. You cant see shit except the flashes and tracers but it feels so cinematic. Great job who ever shot this
There is a twisted sense of beauty to the sound and rhythm of outgoing rounds especially when the artillery strike is in full play.Sucks ass when your on the receiving end though.
When I was in Afghanistan I remember these same type of red tracers from a DshK and my first thought was how beautiful it looked then I remembered oh shit we're taking rounds gotta get down, warfare does have this strange beauty to it only those who have been there can realise it.
@@deviledegg5664 Yep,its a different,yet a facsinating feeling.We were in sirte,libya,we recaptured an abandoned ammunation depot from GNA.A squad was inspecting the depot,and all of a sudden the drone strike came.Because it was a ammunation depot,when it blew up it was like fireworks,it looked amazing but then you realise its your allies down there.yes it was a different feeling.

Real combat is mostly about suppressive fire and shooting at suspected targets, in particular with less trained and disciplined troops (no offence to Ukrainians). To the uneducated mind this may seem like merely a "live fire exercise" (and guess what you train in a life fire exercise? Combat!).
With the same logic the Iraq war never happened because this is what it looks like when American troops fight insurgents as well.
I did find some time to play Call of Duty when I was serving in Iraq, but not all the time... so I guess so. Determining who is educated or not, that seems impossible given our forum. However, the one who seems to be a assuming ass lol... That is easy to see.

Serving in Iraq doesn't establish a damn thing. I personally know a comcor that's in Afghanistan every year where the action is, and as a photog he would see more action in one week then some base crab could during the entire tour.
Since you can't id clearly incoming fire, you could have been serving drinks in some Iraqi hotel for all we know.

The sound of war is oddly gorgeous and scary at the same time, a bullet snapping past you or whizzing by is a peculiar sound yet also quite a beautiful part of our existence hearing a bullet pass by you or ricochet by you is a very entrancing sound nothing can ever compare
What's with all the shouting over the radio I know the firefight is loud ? Can the commanders not give clear,calm, concise orders over their radios all the shouting I'm surprised anyone can hear anything.

People had rights to do it. And they did it.

But considering DPR/DNR and LPR/LNR very commonly use Soviet/Russian equipment (notably AK-74M, T-72B1, BV, and many other T-72 variants, as well as many Russian produced weaponry), and that Russia sent unmarked MSV soldiers into Crimea, and guarding Simferopol International Airport and Perevalne Military Base (both in Crimea), goes to show that the War in Donbass and the Ukrainian Crisis were both irrefutably instigated by the Russian government.
